I have ordered Idly and vada with sambhar and filter coffee. Idly,Vada,Sambhar and coconut chutney were very tasty. And filter coffee after a long time I got such good filter coffee. Though it was my first time but it give me nostalgia feeling seems like they are there from many years.

Everything we tried was just perfect and authentic tasting. Went there for breakfast on a rainy day and tried many South Indian dishes and everything came out great. Service was prompt. Must try for breakfast.

Very neat and clean place when I used to be sick I used to eat idly and vada from there only It is a very famous place I recommend to go and bring home the food and try it Love the flavours

Taste 4/5 Ambience 3/5 Service 4/5 Value for money 4/5 Kamat has been well know for their varieties of South Indian dishes and guess what we ordered here - South Indian cuisine 😂 Let’s see what all: 1. Medu Wada Sambar - Very crispy and at the same time very oil with super sambar & coconut chutney. 2. Steamed Idly Plate - Very soft and delicious again with the same Sambar & chutney. 3. Kamat Mini Thali - well it was not mini at all, this thaki had 3/4 sabzis, Sambar, 2 chappatis/ pooris, rice & suji halwa. 4. Dahi wada - Extremely tasty and delightful. 5. Veg hakka noodles - it had no taste & it was very light. 6. Gulab Jamun - Nice fresh sweet balls. Service was quick but the AC family room is damn freezing. The captain switched off the AC on our request once but next time he didn’t even after assuring. Value for money.

When in doubt try Kamat- you will never go wrong wuth their menu be it their poori sabji or their quintessential masala dosas or the bisi bele baath or the pesarattu. Also recommended is their chole batura- the bhatura is frightfully Huge. It's a shame they discontinued with the Mysore Masala Dosa and Kaamat sweets though!! Bring it back people! We urge you! #mysoremasaladosa #kamat

Good atmosphere and clean maintained restaurant liked the food , good less oil vegetarian food , specially liked the South Indian thali here , whenever feel for vegetarian food will visit or order @ Kamat Hotel...

We ordered 4 South Indian meals and the taste was good. Service was quick. But my only concern here would be regarding the hygiene Wash rooms need maintenance.

Went to eat after checking out reviews on Google. Ordered a south Indian thali, the taste was ok but nothing great. The portion size was also very little and the price was around 168/- which was by no means justified. Felt this place is a bit overhyped and also there is a wait time due to the rush during peak hours.
