One Drive In being the first in the city is still the trending one due to its location, loyal crowd, and sumptuous food. I have known this drive-in (earlier known as Syala drive-in) but never visited it. Recently visited the KING OF KEBABS outlet in this drive in and I should say this is the most underrated place in the vicinity of Jubilee Hills. We tried a lot of varieties as a group of friends and every dish exceeded my expectations. My top pick has to be the non-veg platter with 8 varieties of tikkas easily shared by 4-5 ppl where each kebab had unique flavors and was delivered spot on. Consisting of Chicken tikka, Chicken lasooni kebab, Murgh Afghani tikka, Chicken reshmi kebab, Murgh malai tikka, Mutton sheekh kebab, Smoked fish tikka, Prawn tikka, this one is priced at 795 and is absolutely worth it. For the vegetarians, we have the Veg platter ( Tandoori Paneer kebab, Afghani paneer tikka, Tandoori mushroom, stuffed mushroom). I personally loved the stuffed mushroom with paneer stuffed inside it <3 We also tried their shawarma offerings including special shawarma, spl egg, and cheese butter. I love the stuffing but to me, the rumali could be been better and I expected a bit more punch in it overall. Next, we tried their Chicken kheema paratha served with mint chutney and dahi, this paratha was spot on in flavors, and texture, and complete 5/5 for me. In came the surprise of the lunch, Chicken Dum biriyani. This one completely surprised all of us in the subtle flavors, the pillowy cook on the rice and super tender chicken, and absolutely finger-licking good <3. This is a must-try here (DONT MISS IT). Next, we also tried their Chicken tikka masala dum biriyani bowl which was also very flavorful and a nice combo by itself. Butter roti & chicken tikka masala has to be another MUST TRY here and don't miss it garam-a-garam :) Last but definitely not least, had to end the feast with desserts, and in came Gulab jamun & Double ka meetha. Hands down, one of the best gulab jamuns in the city, the super soft texture and that homely feel on each bite gave me extreme nostalgia for my granny's jamuns every festive season. Overall, while the place was packed on a Sunday evening obviously the food being this flavorful, KING OF KEBABS didn't disappoint us in any aspect and is a must-visit place for a pack of friends to swing by and enjoy food.

One drive in is the one of the oldest Drive in Hyderabad. Nested in the busy lanes of Jubilee hills which is beside Antera Restuarant. From One drive in we have tried one of the kebabs place i.e. King of kebabs, which is nestled along with other food counters as well. We tried with Non veg platter where the platter consists of "Chicken tikka, Chicken lasooni kebab, Murgh Afghani tikka, Chicken reshmi kebab, Murgh malai kebab, Mutton Sheekh kebab, Smoked fish tikka, Prawns tikka", the platter was amazing. I specially liked the prawns tikka, Mutton Sheekh kebab & murgh malai kebab. Next we tried with Veg Platter which consists of "Tandoori Paneer kebab, Afghani Paneer tikka, Stuffed Mushroom, Mushroom tikka" out of which stuffed mushroom was too good, where the stuffing was paneer, it tasted brilliant. Next we tried was Chicken tangdi kebab which was tendered and juicy as well, when you eat with the mayo it hits different. Truly amazing. Next we had was Shawarma where spl egg shawrama & Cheese butter shawarma was toof good, with lot of mayo. Next we had Chicken Kheema paratha, this was good, but to my palate i felt the base of paratha was little bit dry & chewy. Other than that everything was perfect about the dish. Next we tried with Chicken tikka masala rice bowl, it comes with biryani rice & chicken tikka masala which was simply superb. Next we had "Chicken Dum biryani" one of the best biryani i had in recent times. The Biryani tastes just like homemade biryani, very subtle in spices & ghee content as well. The piece was very tender & juicy for the Biryani as well. For the desserts we had Gulab jamun & Double ka meetha which was good to my palate. Well, this is my short & sweet review about king of kebabs. Hope you like the review, if you try from this place, do let me know your experience as well. Ambience :- 5/5 Taste :- 5/5 Service :- 5/5 Overall experience :- 5/5

Some places which serve good food hardly goes unnoticed ,one such place i recently came across is King of Kebabs located in the city's popular One drive in . The menu is modest fare of Biryani ,Curries ,kebabs and shawarma . The non veg platter would be my first pick and star dish which comes with 8 assorted kebabs and each one of them perfectly spiced and flavourful in taste . (Chicken tikka, Chicken lasooni kebab, Murgh Afghani tikka, Chicken reshmi kebab, Murgh malai tikka, Mutton sheekh kebab, Smoked fish tikka, Prawn tikka) Also tried my hands on the vegetarian platter and their paneer delicacies satisfied my taste buds . Another highly recommending dish will be their Chicken Biryani. It was very flavourful with right balance of masala and was served in good portion . One of the best biryani in recent times i have tried . Definitely one of those places which serve comfort food at very budget friendly pricing.

King of kababs at syala drive in serves the softest kababs. I have tried chicken Malai kabab. Chicken Tikka and Mutton sheekh kabab. You get hot kababs with great quantity and excellent taste. Kababs are served with green chutney and onions. Malai kabab was super soft and was less spicy. Best for kids. Chicken Tikka was also very soft and was medium spicy. Mutton sheekh kabab was spicy and was slightly dry. I wouldn't have it again. But chicken kababs get full points . Syala drive in is the best place to hangout with friends . They have super fast service and staff is equally nice . If you are hungry and don't have time to dine in. Then this is your place.

Ordered chicken tikka roll, and it was by far one of the worst rolls I ever had, why put ketchup inside the roll? The wrap was probably romali, and was soggy.
