Located opposite Durgam Cheruvu Lake and the iconic Cable Bridge in Hyderabad, Kshana Coffee is much more than just a cafe. It is a space where every little detail has a thought, a story and a purpose behind it. You can see the time, effort and passion Teja, the owner, has put into creating this place. The cafe faces east, and one of its most beautiful features is the play of natural light. After around 9–9:30 AM, the sunlight creates a natural curtain-like effect over the staircase, making it look majestic and incredibly photogenic. If you enjoy photography, visiting in the morning to capture this is worth it. Another thoughtful detail is the coffee bar. Its bow-shaped design, inspired by Lord Rama’s bow, incorporates flowing water in a circular motion. The design is best appreciated from the first-floor staircase. The flooring is equally interesting, with a continuous green, rounded pattern flowing throughout the cafe. Its intentionally rustic, aged finish adds texture and character to the space. Even the coffee mugs reflect this attention to detail. Although they look similar from the outside, their inner shapes differ depending on the coffee being served. The curved-bottom mugs help create latte art, while the flat-bottom ones are suited to espresso. The mugs are kept warm, making holding one in both hands a lovely part of the coffee experience. The Indian aesthetic runs throughout the space, from the use of steel and cutlery to the tiles, plants and landscaping. Nothing feels like an afterthought. Coming to the food and coffee, the Clarified Vanilla Espresso was refreshing, with lovely citrusy and peachy notes. The Raspberry Cold Foam was creamy and well-balanced. We also enjoyed the cheesy Mushroom Melt, the creamy Bombay Toast with its unique twist, and the house-made fries, crispy on the outside and soft inside. What makes the place even more special is Teja himself. He is knowledgeable, passionate about his craft and genuinely down-to-earth. Talking to him gives you a better understanding of the thought behind the space and its design. Their tagline, “Memories to be created every second,” feels fitting for a place where the experience goes beyond food and coffee. If you appreciate thoughtful architecture, Indian design elements, good coffee and meaningful conversations, Kshana Coffee is worth a visit. Take your time, explore the space and notice the little details. That’s where the magic lies.

I want to share some honest feedback in the hope that it helps. The space is great and the coffee was genuinely good. However, a few things made the experience frustrating - Menu: What was advertised didn't match what was available, and there is clearly a gap. I suggest sitting down with your chef to review the menu and make sure it is accurate and also educate the staff about the same. Aesthetics and Table basics: I can understand that the concept is a clean, minimalistic look but the execution misses the mark. I would rather have some basics handy without having to go all the way to the stairs or downstairs to call the staff for basic things like cutlery or tissues or water. I hope this review will prompt you to make some practical changes and make this place worth visiting again.
