It's hard to find adjectives to describe this place. One of the best joints and one of a kind place in Hyderabad. Amazing food at such reasonable prices makes lamakaan a perfect joint to hangout, work or even meet new friends. This place is my absolute favourite. They do organize cultural events and they are great too. Meeting new people, hanging out with friends, food and tea if you like all of these then Lamakaan is the place for you. This is a place where you find peace and its worth to visit. This a not for profit org where the food prices are cheap and they organize cultural events which u can find details on their fb page. More like a canteen food but with a great taste and ambiance. Such places are very hard to find in these days where everyone wants to go after making big profits and make the place more commerical. Located at posh locaility. Must visit to spend some peaceful time and find the true meaning behind estabilishing this place.

A small and cozy place at the center of the city offering food at really affordable prices. The menu was limited but the food tastes good. The USP of the place was the ambience which is really peaceful, good and pocket friendly place to spend some quality time with friends.

Chai and samosa is all time favourite. Cool place to chill and with all theatre lovers crowd. So affordable range they got, definitely must visit.

A quite place that is but a 150m from one of the main roads in Hyderabad. It is almost unimaginable the peace, a place like this brings, and vibe of sitting at home and just having a quick, comfy cup with a small snack, to munch on while taking it all in. There is a limit to staying there, about 30 mins from when you enter, to give an opportunity for those that come in after you. What I ordered: - Coffee - Lassi - Mirchi Bajji Everything was extremely satisfying, from prices to quality, to taste, to the ambiance. Tried going again today, not realizing that they are closed on Mondays, but would love to try and go again for that evening cup of coffee.

I have been to Lamakaan more than 10 times as it’s close to my previous office. I love all the vegetarian options that are available here . Nimbu pani is sweet and salty . Lassi is whole another level . It’s thick and sweet . Samosa , Dahi Wada and aaloo bonda are my favourites . It’s a self service restaurant cum open space for programs and for people to work . Reasonable and worth the visit . The only thing I did not like here is it has less parking space and we find quite some people who smoke around that place . Wish the restaurant does not allow people who smoke around that premise . Giving 4 star only for this reason . Food 100* for sure .

Even though it's a bit crowded sometimes it's a great place to visit. Wonderful food and ambience. Chai and samosa are a must
