It was the first time I visited Magnolia.. I tried Vanilla cupcake with chocolate butter cream frosting, matcha cupcake and Tres Leches. My favourite is Vanilla cupcake with Chocolate Butter Cream frosting. it reminded me of my childhood.

The Classic Tres Leches and the Classic Banana Pudding is literally the best. No other dessert comes close. A must must must try. The ambience is perfect for eating desserts.

I ordered a chocolate cupcake for dining and banana pudding for takeaway. I’m beyond disappointed! Despite making it clear that the pudding was for takeaway, I wasn’t given a bag - I had to ask for one! The place is noisy super noisy. About the food - the portion size of the pudding was ridiculously small. It is certainly not worth the price. And for the same amount of money, you can get a much better portion size in their Bangalore outlet. On top of that, they add GST to the already inflated rates! The buttercream on the cupcake was granular and sickeningly sweet. Honestly, it felt like diabetes on a plate!! The owners really need to taste what they’re selling. If they did, I’m sure they’d realize how overpowering and unbalanced the sweetness is. For a bakery that claims to offer global standards, this place is a complete letdown. Most people around me were struggling to finish their desserts. Definitely won’t be returning, and I can't recommend this place to anyone looking for quality desserts. It is a total waste of money.

Very disappointing experience with Magnolia Bakery, Hyderabad. We ordered a birthday cake (Pumpkin Spiced flavor) for next-day delivery. The outlet confirmed the order and took full payment upfront (₹3000+). After that, the ordeal began. We received multiple calls saying they didn’t have the ingredients for the cake and asked us to change the flavor. We agreed to switch to Harvest Apple, only to be called again within minutes saying that wasn’t possible either. Finally, we were told only Chocolate Truffle was available. I genuinely don’t understand how a brand of Magnolia’s scale can confirm orders, charge full payment, and then repeatedly say ingredients are unavailable. This shows extremely poor planning and even worse customer experience—especially for a birthday, where timing and trust matter. Charging premium prices but offering zero reliability is unacceptable. This experience felt careless and disrespectful of customers’ time and money. Definitely not the standard one expects from a “premium” global brand.

The staff was not friendly and was not ready to provide us a resolution. We had ordered for a jar and first the cashier denied that they were not having it, but then we complained about that not being in stock every time. This is the fourth time when it was not in stock when we spoke with the manager, somehow, they manage to get it for us. So if it is, it was in stock, why did they deny in the first place or why keep it in the menu if they don’t want to serve it?

I ordered the famous tres leches cake and here’s my honest review. It’s like eating bread and milk with the bread that’s available in normal bakeries and literally too sweet. I think the only tasty thing was the blueberry given with it. I am not even going to visit the place. Thanks!

Very sad service. No one picks the phone. If they finally do you get passed around and no questions are answered. Extremely ridiculous experience.
