⚠️ Be very careful when using Zomato/Swiggy for payment at this restaurant. I booked a table through Zomato and ordered food, including a platter that was not discounted. When the bill arrived, I wanted to pay through Zomato and also asked them to remove the service charge. The waiter then told me that the platter was not eligible for Zomato payment, even though the platter itself was not discounted. He showed me the terms and conditions stating that discounted platters are excluded from the offer. What was particularly disappointing was that this was only brought to our attention after we had finished ordering and the bill was generated. The waiter also told me that if I paid the full service charge, I could proceed with the Zomato payment. This felt misleading and unnecessarily confusing. If a particular item is genuinely excluded from Zomato payment, customers should be clearly informed before ordering, especially when the item in question is not discounted. Food aside, the payment experience left a very bad impression. If you’re using Zomato or Swiggy, I strongly recommend confirming the payment terms with the restaurant before ordering.
