Mama Mia Italia in Sainikpuri is a beautiful blend of Mediterranean warmth and Italian comfort, served up in a cosy alfresco setting. Whether you choose the ground-level garden space or the breezy terrace upstairs, the ambience instantly transports you out of the city chaos and into a charming café escape. We started with the Hummus & Pita – silky smooth hummus, paired with freshly baked pita bread that was soft, warm, and perfect for scooping. Next came the Shakshuka with two eggs, served bubbling in a pan with a robust tomato base, spiced just right. The eggs were cooked to perfection – runny yolks that added a rich creaminess to each bite. For mains, we had their wood-fired pizza (a large one, not just a 10-inch!) – customisable and divided into two halves. One side was topped with grilled chicken, the other with pepperoni. The crust was thin, crisp along the edges, and mushy in the centre. We also couldn’t resist the English Breakfast, which was one of the highlights. Plated beautifully, it included juicy sausages, well-sautéed mushrooms and tomatoes, crunchy toast, flavourful baked beans, and the absolute star – their crispy bacon, which had the perfect crunch and salt balance. To end on a sweet note, we went for the Lemon Drizzle Cake – light, zesty, and moist with a delicate sugar glaze. Service: Friendly, attentive staff. Food took a little time, but it was worth the wait – everything was freshly prepared. Ambience: Rustic, relaxed, and outdoorsy. Ideal for breakfast dates, laid-back lunches, or coffee catchups in the evening breeze. Final Verdict: Mama Mia Italia is an underrated gem in Sainikpuri that gets its food and vibes right; Danny Blogs recommends it for lovers of Mediterranean and Italian fare.

Mama Mia Italia in Sainikpuri is such a refreshing café escape with a cosy garden and breezy outdoor ambience. We started with the Hummus & Pita – smooth, creamy hummus with warm, fresh pita that was perfect for scooping. The Shakshuka with two eggs was another winner, with a rich tomato base and perfectly runny yolks adding depth to every bite. For mains, the wood-fired pizza (large, not the usual 10-inch) stood out – we customized it with half grilled chicken and half pepperoni. The thin, crisp crust was spot on, though the centre leaned a little soft. The English Breakfast was a highlight – sausages, sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, crunchy toast, and the absolute star: crispy bacon with just the right crunch and salt balance. We ended with the Lemon Drizzle Cake – light, zesty and moist! A lovely spot for Mediterranean warmth and Italian comfort in the heart of Sainikpuri!

Amazing! Food’s great, and so is the owner of this great establishment. Their chocolate panna cotta, especially, is to *die* for!

Loved the ambience and hospitality. Pizza was really good. Churros was a bit burnt and the dark chocolate dip was too hard for a dip..

We went here after reading the many good reviews but were disappointed. Ordered Non veg Alfredo Pasta, and it was really bad. Especially the cream tasted like the infant supplement cerelac. Apparently the coolers there are basically just syrup and water and not fresh fruit based. The Mojito wasn't any good either, it was way too sugary and tasted nothing like mojito. The pizza was just okay.
