It was my birthday, and my friends were actually more excited than me about celebrating it! They picked Mekong (at Marigold, Hyderabad) for lunch and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best choices ever. We hadn’t had breakfast and were starving, so we ordered quite a spread — Cereal Butter Prawns, Chinese Fried Rice (Chicken), Green Papaya Salad, Hanoi Garlic Prawns, Nasi Goreng, Butter Garlic Lobsters, Sichuan Chilli Lobster, Spicy Chicken with Peanuts, and Spicy Salmon Roll Sushi. Every dish was packed with flavour yet so light on the stomach that we just couldn’t stop eating! The Cereal Butter Prawns and Butter Garlic Lobsters were absolute show-stealers, the Nasi Goreng was easily the best I’ve ever had, while the Chinese Fried Rice was simple, fragrant, and perfectly done. A special mention to our server Shabnam, who handled everything so gracefully. We had a ton of questions about the dishes, and she explained each one with patience and a warm smile. The service was easily a 10/10 — attentive, friendly, and professional. The ambience was equally wonderful — calm, elegant, and perfect for a relaxed afternoon meal. We wrapped up the lunch with a cake-cutting, making it perfect and memorable. Thank you, Mekong, for making this day truly special! Easily the best Asian restaurant I’ve been to till date.

Our time here was super wholesome. We went on a busy, festive day yet the staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. There's no dearth of veg options and the food was fabulous! They strike a rare balance between an wide spread and deep, well-rounded flavours. Coconut and jaggery icecream deserves a shoutout. It's simply to die for.

The restaurant has amazing ambience. The food is absolutely delectable, scrumptious and of the highest quality. The staff is very polite, friendly, patient and gave excellent suggestions. Mr Shalom made the experience very pleasant

We visited the Begumpet branch. The environment, lighting and seating is ideal for a lazy weekend lunch over elaborate conversations and the live food counter bang in the middle is a nice touch. Starters and drinks : The crispy lamb chilli was superb. Flavour and texture hit just right. Must try! Mom loved her cocktail named White Lady which had a hint of ginger in it. Go for it. My Budweiser draft beer was fine. The Tibetan Steamed Chicken Momo had the right consistency but could have been juicier. It tastes better with the green chutney and independently, it was average. Main course: The Bhutanese coconut rice ( veg) , was flirting with sticky rice territory ( we like it that way) and is the ideal base for any non-veg curry . Some people may prefer chewing on the thin coconut slices, but I would have preferred the grated version. Almond chicken gravy with wine - Unique new flavour indeed but didnt taste like what we expected. Maybe it would have made a better combo with a regular fried rice. Pan fried chicken noodles with ginger sauce- high on flavour but a tad too overpowering with its multiple ingredients and sauces. The only dish which was disappointing as we expected a lighter, less complicated version. Dessert- Avocado ice cream served with honey and bread was a huge hit. Flavour is subtle and the combination worked great. Special mention of our hostess Pratiksha. She was super attentive and observant and took good care of us. Ask for if you can. All in a all , a very good meal and i wouldd definitely recommend this place. Could have been better if we had got our curry/noodles/rice combos right:) So go through the menu carefully.

We were a bit disappointed with the food tonight, which is rather unusual for this place. They have great people as staff, but evidently not fully trained, and we felt there were several gaps in their services tonight considering you pay five star charges and expect service to compliment that. Disappointed!

Mr Rajeev who is manager was absolutely rude. He was behaving badly and this not kind of service we expect.
