One of the old few Authentic restaurants in Hyderabad. The taste is very original. Must try. The place is cozy but its worth for a full happy Breakfast and food.

South Indian breakfast with Authentic taste in Hyderabad is almost extinct. In such a scenario, I found Poorna a pleasant surprise with lip-smacking tiffins like Idly, Wada, Masala Dosa, Poori, Pesarattu and Upma, all tried in a single sitting. The three - chutney and karampodi are perfect accompaniments and are almost addictive. Having tried almost all the big names I felt I found an outlet for my breakfast cravings. Only dampener was sambar which is watery with an unexplainable taste.

One of the Finest Breaky in the heart of City with lots of Chutney option.... Each has their own importance and goodness to the whole breakfast affair...loved it thoroughly....oy downside no Coffee other wise it's a cent percent hit of a place . I shall visit it again to relish some Good choices

Everyday i used to have lunch here when i am bachelor and working in near by company at lower tank bund. Meals are very tasty and literally people used to wait for the seats. Price is also reasonable. A must try for mess lovers.

A perfect place for all the idli lovers. One has to actually wait in queue to get a table. I visited with my hubby early in the morning around 7.00am on 1st July, 2015. I was surprised to see that almost all the tables were occupied. We placed order for 2 plates of ghee idli's. Served in typical south indian style on a banana leaf (in a plate). There were 4 different varieties of chutneys already kept on the table which can be consumed/served 'n' number of times. Idli was served and loads of ghee was poured over them. It was accompanied with sambar as well. The idlis were so soft that they melted in the mouth. Infact, i loved the idlis so much that I didn't wanted anything alongwith it. We had couple of plates of idlis, they were indeed very yummy. We also placed order for uttapam, it was good too but nothing great to mention about it. Then we had filter coffee, which wasn't great enough to my taste, i prefer a strong one, what they served was very light. Overall, taste is something which matters. Poorna hotel is situated at the lane opp telephone bhavan Lakdi ka pool. Its a decent place. They have place for 2 wheeler parking. Nothing fancy about interior. But the food is good here. Loved the ghee idli. Idli was served hot and add ghee to it with delicious chutney . Pricing is reasonable.
