Tamil Nadu may not be known for fine dining yet, but their lip-smacking street food variants surely can give you a run for your money. Tamil Nadu additionally offers delicious delicacies from around the country. When we talk about food in Tamil Nadu, the first thing that pops in your mind is undoubtedly steaming hot idlis and sambar. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The best and the tastiest of the foods are found in the streets. This validates not only in India but anywhere in the world. They can be fusion or authentic, but they can stand head to toe with any food you’d order at any restaurant. Street food in Tamil Nadu differs from region to region. While in the southern districts of Kanyakumari or Tirunelveli, the famous street food is parotta (paratha), in Madurai, it is Jigarthanda. But Chennai in specific enjoys a variety of street food from dosa, idli, and North Indian fare to Burmese food, thanks to the multitude of people who have settled in the region in the past years. Prasad's Kitchen, situated in DLF Gachibowli, is a newbie in the street food space of Hyderabad which is bringing forth such authenticity of street food of the Tamil Nadu region to the land of Nawabs. From the ingredient to cooking methods to the Chefs preparing the dishes, Prasad's Kitchen has surely completed its checklist, with ingredients being brought in from Chennai so that the taste profile is in place. Moreover, the USP of Prasad's Kitchen being all of their dishes listed on the menu cost under a Dollar, be it Dosas, Idli, or even Paratha meals. We tried out Podi Idli, and Podi Dosa with Sambar Idly, all of these were on-point with the Sambar being the star. Highly recommended for all, who are fans of some authentic piping hot Sambar with great taste. Next up, we had Parota with Chicken Korma and Egg Kotthu Parota, both of which were something you wouldn't want to miss. The process of shredding Kotthu Paratha is surely a sight to witness with the flatbreads being mashed some minutely. Lastly, if you are on the lookout for an authentic Parota variant, Chicken Kozhi Potalam or Chicken Banana Leaf Parota, wherein the parottas & chicken curry are layered & tied up, cooked on steam. I liked the flavors from curry and plantain leaf, the parotta soaks up the gravy and gives it a great taste profile. I would suggest, dropping into this place for getting a feel of authentic flavors from the Tamil Nadu region whilst sitting in Hyderabad.

Great ambience with hygiene, taste and great flavours of food from Chennai, The Parattas are the best with affordable prices and mouth watering tastes. A must try for all who love to explore traditional food with street style concept. The best part is open kitchen where the food is prepared in front of customer and served in a traditional banana leaf. For dosas and idlies with all varieties the 2 variety chutneys and Chennai style sambar goes very well which is the best on the list for someone who loves idlies and dosas.
