I am visiting this place since my childhood, This is a joint of paradise actually. They only sell chai, samosa. Trust me u visit this place any day, any time, you definitly should wait for your samosa. You see crowd rushing in heavily throughout the day. One of the best samosas you can get here for sure. This restaurant is right on the square at the Patny Centre. Clearly visible and seems to have taken a hit from the ever expanding roads and real estate around this place still stands despite of them and attracts crowds and snack lovers far and wide. Their signature dish Onion Samosa served hot is one of the tastiest and yummy, one can get. Tea is also a perfect flavoured Irani Style. Hygiene and Ambience is a compromise, the experience is mostly street cart-ish with few standing tables out in the open as if you are amidst zooming traffic and at the one of the busiest signals.

Tucked to a corner in the busy Patny center, the ever-crowded Rio Cafe serves the best Onion Samosas in the whole of Hyderabad! Seriously, the hot onion Samosas here are to die for! Right from its opening hours, this place is thronged by people from all ages- old people ganging up for their first chai of the day, office goers stopping by for their morning dose of the unmissable Irani Chai and the infamous Lukmi. As the day goes on, the rush increases and peaks right after dusk. They also serve great Lukmi. This is certainly one of the best Chai- Samosa places in Hyderabad!

Its a usual canteen like shop. Onion samosa is good but really oily. They have stopped selling dilkush now. A new variety named lahusni introduved which is okayish. Tea is really good. Over all taste 4*

Samosas are the only thing good here only problem though is the consistency of taste and the fillings differ not to say that it is bad but you may not get the same taste twice. The best thing there is a small team constantly making fresh samosas throughput the day so for sure you are having fresh samosas hot and crispy

I was discussing with a Hyderabadi friend about the best places that serve Onion samosa and he mentioned this café. As I was exploring this area in Secunderabad, I visited this place to try their onion samosa.    First thing about this place is that it is a very small café and is not that clean or hygienic. It sells very few items like Onion samosa, kajur, lukhmi, alu samosa and tea. The best selling item is with out any doubt "Onion samosa".    It is made in batches and there are people waiting to get them so this place is always crowded. Now coming to their taste the Onion samosa was ok but not worth the hype. The tea was also just about ok.    Kajur is a sweet item which I liked but the lukhmi is a disaster. There is not much stuffing inside it and it is cold and dry. There is no seating space inside and mostly people come here to buy Onion samosa in packs and carry home.

I didn’t like tea. But Lukeme and Kajur were delicious. Samosa wasn’t available early in the morning. I’ll hit it next time to have onion and potato samosa. Ratings for this cafe are as follows:- Food:- 3.5/5 Service:- 4/5 Value for money:- 5/5 Ambience: 3/5
