Onam Sadhya Experience at Sa.Ma Visited Sa.Ma again this year for their Onam Sadhya, mainly because last year’s experience had left a great impression. The Sadhya was announced quite late, and despite my wife personally calling and enquiring, our reservation somehow wasn’t registered, and we ended up with the 2:30 PM slot after calling for confirmation. The ambience and food were decent and met our expectations to some extent. However, the service was quite disappointing. I don’t blame the servers entirely, as they clearly seemed undertrained for handling an occasion like this. Onam Sadhya is something very close to a Malayalee’s heart and I had brought my parents specifically to give them that experience, as they were celebrating the festival with us thjs year. Unfortunately, several items were not served unless we repeatedly asked for them, portions were inconsistent, and despite having a prior booking, we didn’t receive the Pradhaman as it had run out. Considering the price increased from ₹565 to ₹899, these aspects should have been better managed. We ended up paying ₹4,000+ for an experience that was quite disappointing. There were other restaurants offering Sadhya at much lower prices, but I chose Sa.Ma because of the excellent experience we had last year. Please ensure the staff are better trained and prepared for such occasions. I hope the experience improves next year. But I wont be recommending the place henceforth.

The vibe at this place is amazing but there could be more variety of food options also tastier. The food tasted average. Also very limited options.
