Today's lunch was at Southern Kitchen, Gowlidoddi, Gachibowli. Pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant jam packed even on a Thursday for lunch and also had waiting. We were a big group and tried many items from the menu. Owing to the rush, service was a little slow but we didn't mind as we had time on hand. We started with Vellulli miryala Charu and Nalli bokka miryala Charu. Both complimented the weather superbly and was a relief through the throat. For starters, we had Palakura Pachimirchi Paneer (3🌟), Mamsam ghee roast (4 🌟), Veyinchina Karvepaku Kodi (5 🌟) & Chitti Royyala vepudu (5 🌟). In main course, we had Veg Thali (3 🌟), Pandu Mirchi Paneer (4.5 🌟), Nellore Chepala pulusu (5 🌟), Chitti Gaare with chicken curry (4 🌟), Kaju Ghee Rice (4.5 🌟), Veta Mamsam Pulao (5 🌟). Desserts were Khubbani ka meetha with ice cream (4 🌟 ) and Pala Thalikalu (5 🌟). A must visit place if you are in this part of the city.

The food taste is good and no complaints. We tried fish fry, prawns fry, garelu with mutton curry, Raju gare kode palav and veta masam palav. So all the items tastes good. However the portions are very less for the expensive price. Hardly you get one person portion for the 400-500 price

Disappointing Experience – Extremely Slow Service I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow, and despite waiting for a long time, the food did not meet expectations. The taste was below average, and the delay made it even more frustrating. We ordered a lime soda, but after waiting endlessly, we finally had to cancel it because it never arrived. To make matters worse, the finger bowl never arrived either, and we eventually had to walk and wash our hands ourselves as we couldn’t wait any longer. The lack of efficiency and attention from the staff made the entire experience unpleasant. Definitely not a place I would recommend if you're looking for timely service and good food.

Statutory warning: Skip if you can. Extremely disappointed. Terrible service. The food is so spicey that your tongue goes numb, and not in a good way. You dont taste anything beyond chillis. They randomly forget serving tables, and remember that there are people waiting for food and rush the food (where the food quality is compromised) We went there twice--giving them the benefit of doubt that maybe it was a bad day,but apparently all days are bad days. What we ordered: Veg & non-veg thali. Mutton curry, mutton Pulao. nothing was edible, nothing was tasty. Food: 1/5 Service: 0/5 (they forgot our order... Twice..) Ambience: 2/5 (a little too dark and dingy, but passable)

Everything is wrong with this restaurant. From the Valet service to the food, it's horrible. The waiters persuaded us to order all courses in a single order. And they bring all courses all at once. They just kept all the orders on the table and didn't bother to serve. forget about service, they don't even give u the main plate and give a simple answer to using the quarter plate. The food was average. they don't serve you the accompaniments. You have to ask again and again for those.

food is not at all good. cold food in thali which they excel in serving everytime. they never present bill. they get a tab and show the bill in that and collect money. this is illegal. I don't know if the management is aware of the wrong practices. after this review I expect a call from a management to answer this. I hope they are not part of this scam.

Worst service that I have ever seen. Had come on Saturday lunch and order veg thali. The waiting time to get the thali on table was 20 min. The second serve of dal and rice took another 30 min
