Golden cave is one of the oldest place in ameepet area, its not a ideal place to hangout with family. Ambience is average. If want to eat authentic andhra spicy food this is the place kala mirchi chicken, andhra prawns fry with out coting, andhra mutton curry and kheema biryani are must here. Take away is avalible with ample parking space

Have been here for drinks with friends. The place is average in terms of ambiance but quality of food/snacks served is good. The price of drinks is not a burden on pocket and the USP is they never stop serving drinks even after their stipulated closed time(This is one request which is put down at most places I have been). Never leave this place without trying their keema Biryani...believe me its truly fabulous. Raghav

the golden cave restaurant and bar in ameerpet. in the mid to late 90’s this place was the only place in the in and around ameerpet for decent drinks and food. the place was notoriously famous for its mutton kali mirch kebab, kheema biryani, chicken majestic, loose fried prawns and fish fry. i have had the pleasure of patronising this place at that time and compared to urvasi bar ( downtown was the premium section) this was cheaper and served equally good food. when me and my friend went to this place to relive the experience we were dismayed at the state of affairs, misplaced orders, tasteless food were the call of the day. the prawns was passable, fish fry was apollo fish, mutton talava was rubbery and tasteless. quietly finished my beer cleared the check and headed to another place for a satisfying dinner. looks loke this one is fading with time. This is one of those oldest, Popular Bars in S R Nagar area. Known for its tasty food, ambience and good parking space. However, waiters in the Bar have become so commercial that they smile, offer service, recommend food, be polite only under the assumption that we pay them hefty tips. Unlike other places customers do not decide how much to tip, the waiter swipes ur card off with the amount he expected from you. This number is decided by one’s appearance, Costly Mobile Phones, business they do, car/bike they use etc…. They get disappointed when we tip them less then their expectations and they start to abuse and stop attending your table. They discount customers who tip them high and do not encourage others who pay nominal. For a 4500/- bill, they demanded and took 300/- tip. This is when I realised I should not do this anymore. For a 3876/- bill, I offered 50/- and they I’ll treated us, by not attending our table and didn’t allow other waiters to serve us food we ordered. I stay in S R Nagar and have been visiting this place since 2009, played cricket in their parking since 2003. If this is the kind of treatment I get, I am sure new customers or days when you cannot tip, you won’t find respect here. I am going to the owner, who is pretty close some of my friends local, If they even pay salaries to their staff or if they have given free hand to survive on tips. Worst service . I recommend not to hit this place if u r new. I am going to rate them everywhere possible until these reach the owners and take strick actions against these lazy, black suited, so called Bar Managers …

There are close to 25-30 rats and management is helpless they are all over the place. Never again im going to visit the place
