Food is excellent, but the service is a complete mess. We visited Vedam today and while the food truly is amazing, the overall experience was disappointing due to extremely poor service. After getting a table, we had to wait 45 minutes just to place our order. There was zero coordination among the staff—different people kept coming to take the same order again and again, which only created confusion and frustration. No one seemed to know what was happening, and the service floor felt completely unmanaged. That said, kudos to the front office person in the blue suit, who stepped in and tried his best to help take orders and manage the situation. He was clearly making an effort, but one person cannot fix a system-wide problem. Restaurants can’t survive on food quality alone. With all the Instagram hype these days, expectations are high, but the reality here does not match the online influence. Strong suggestion: Management must urgently improve staff coordination and service management. And for customers—don’t rely only on Instagram reels; always check genuine reviews before visiting.

I booked a table for 02:00 PM today and reached the restaurant at 02:28 PM. When I told the staff about my booking, they asked me to wait for 15 minutes. When I questioned why I had to wait despite having a pre-booking, they had no answer. After waiting for 20 minutes, they said the table was ready, and we sat down. Since only Hindi-speaking staff were taking orders, I asked for a Telugu-speaking person to take the order. After waiting for another 10 minutes, a Telugu person came, and we placed the order. Later, there were no spoons or tissues on the table. Even after asking three times, they brought them very late. The service was extremely slow, and we had to call them repeatedly for service; the staff was very negligent. Fed up, when I questioned the staff about this, they just said "sorry, sir." Among them, a server named Amit Kumar behaved and spoke very poorly. Finally, their manager came and apologized. Key Issues: Pre-booked table not ready (waited 20+ mins).

Food was OK OK for the price they are charging for lunch per person. We can get much hot served food and tasty food for much lesser price. North Indian serving boys didn't know how to serve and what to serve. Despite booking in advance had to wait for 30 minutes for the table. Had to keep asking for rice, Dal etc before someone attend us. Traveled all the way from Sainikpuri to this place and was disappointed

When we attempt to place the order, the staff do not take the customers into consideration. Even when they see customers arriving and sitting at the table rather than coming to us and taking orders, they are wandering around in the commotion.

Thali is disappointing. Dishes in the thali are of poor quality. Basic dishes like sambar and rasam were just for fooling customers.

The worst service ever. The person who wears black suit is not suitable to call himself manager. We ordered idli, cheese dosa and Nellore Karan dosa. They served cold sambhar and on asking they have brought chutneys or else they were expecting us to eat without chutney and we wanted to order another plate of idli. The server was getting the food but the manager told the server to give the order to other family who has ordered food after us. I mean why the differentiation? Please do not consider this place. It’s waste of money better eat at idli dosa Bandis. After eating here I felt chutneys and Antera are far best.

Food was very bad, rice was served cold, it took so much time for a re serve. The menu in the thali was very bad for 500 rupees. None of the curries were good, sambar was not tasting like sambar. Dessert was pathetic. Everything in terms of taste need to be improved. Ambience was nice.

Rotten pulao was served, waiter admitted to it by manager refuses to admit and says it is strong flavor of masala. Never going again and i do not recommend anyone to go.

Food was not severed, has to ask multiple times. the guy will come place an item and then disappear for good. AC was not working, attitude was bad
