This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food quality was simply unacceptable; it felt like the oil being used was stale, and most of the dishes were either undercooked or outright bad in taste. Nothing we ordered lived up to even basic expectations. The service only made things worse. The staff appeared disorganized, poorly presented, and extremely inattentive. It was surprisingly difficult to even get someone’s attention; most of the time, there was no staff visible on the floor. We had to repeatedly wait and look around just to place requests or ask for basic things, which made the entire experience frustrating. There was also an unreasonable delay in serving food. Even after multiple follow-ups, the response remained slow and indifferent, as if customer service was not a priority. The basic facilities and hygiene standards were equally disappointing. For a place that charges the way it does, you’d expect at least proper arrangements, but there was only one small, cramped washroom for everyone, shared by both men and women. There were no finger bowls or wet towels provided, so after eating, guests had no choice but to stand in line for the same washroom just to wash their hands. The situation became even more awkward when, while I was washing my hands, a man walked in confused and embarrassed, assuming he had entered the wrong washroom, only to realize it was shared. To make matters worse, there was a gathering happening outside, so a large crowd was using that single washroom, making it feel unhygienic and poorly managed. What truly crossed the line was the behavior toward the end. While we were waiting for our cab, instead of basic courtesy, we were rudely asked to move and sit somewhere else, as if our presence was an inconvenience. What makes this even more disappointing is that another JMB restaurant nearby has consistently delivered great food and service; we’ve even hosted two large events there without any issues. In comparison, this outlet is a complete letdown. It’s rare to have such a poor experience at a restaurant, but this one unfortunately stands out for all the wrong reasons.
