1/5 — Disappointing experience despite an empty restaurant We were seated at a tiny two-seater table that couldn’t even hold the 4-5 dishes we ordered — plates were literally overflowing onto each other. We politely asked for a bigger table, especially since my wife is pregnant and needed more space to sit comfortably. Here’s the kicker: the restaurant was almost 90% empty. There were plenty of larger tables and comfortable sofa seating in the main outside area, completely vacant. The staff flatly refused to move us, insisting “this is the only option, sir” — with zero warmth or willingness to accommodate a pregnant guest on her husband’s birthday. The food didn’t redeem the experience either. We ordered the cigar rolls and a classic chaat/mole plate (~₹850) — both were bland and forgettable, nothing that justified the price tag. We ended up paying around ₹2,400-2,500 for a meal that was mediocre at best, served with an attitude we didn’t ask for. For a cafe charging premium prices, the lack of basic courtesy and flexibility — even when the place was empty — was baffling. Not the birthday experience we hoped for, and not one I’d recommend to anyone else.

You get to the restaurant all dressed and good to go but they tell you, you can’t get in because you’re wearing Birkenstocks?? I mean, you can get in with a ₹500 shoes but not 12k birks?? Completely illogical policy. Funny thing they wouldn’t let a kid get in because he was wearing shorts and they turned away a group of 5. Unbelievable!!

The service was pathetic. Trevi has lost its class. The waitingnstaff was soo poor. They served us a non veg pizza on veg table. And they were very unapologetic about it which is very surprising. And an executive tried to pose as a manager. Trevi has lost its class, sad to see another place going down in jaipur.
