Must visit restaurant if in Jaipur, once in a lifetime experience. Superb food , excellent ambience They customised the thali in jain as well. A bit pricey but no regrets.

Had a wonderful experience here. The food was excellent. My wife and myself had tried the non veg thali and found the food authentic. The desserts were a bit of a let down compared to what came before. It was my wife’s birthday and the serving staff went out of their way by getting us a cake(which was incredible) and a couple of mocktails. Juli, Arshdeep took great care of us, made sure our dinner was enjoyable, talked us through the history of the place and of course made sure we got the best pictures as well

0/5 — Absolutely disgraceful. This was one of the most pathetic and insulting dining experiences I have had in Jaipur. We had a confirmed 9:00 PM reservation, and what makes this even more ridiculous is that the restaurant staff called me TWICE during the day specifically to confirm the reservation. So there was absolutely no confusion, no misunderstanding and no excuse. And yet, when we actually arrived at 9 PM, we were made to wait for nearly 50 MINUTES. Why call a guest twice to confirm a reservation if you cannot even honour it? What makes this experience even more disgusting is that the restaurant had also been clearly informed that it was my wife’s birthday. This was supposed to be a special evening for us. Instead, we were left waiting with absolutely no urgency, no meaningful apology, no attempt to make the situation better and not even the basic courtesy you would expect from a restaurant of this level. The attitude of the staff was the worst part. Arrogant, dismissive, indifferent and completely devoid of hospitality. There was absolutely no feeling that they cared about our time, our occasion or the fact that we were paying guests. This is Jamavar at The Leela Palace Jaipur, not some casual neighbourhood restaurant. When you position yourself as a luxury dining destination and charge luxury prices, guests have every right to expect professionalism, organisation and basic respect. Instead, we got a masterclass in how NOT to treat customers. You confirmed my reservation twice. You knew the reservation was at 9 PM. You knew it was my wife’s birthday. We arrived on time. And you still made us wait almost 50 minutes. Then, rather than handling the situation with humility and genuine hospitality, the attitude was practically “take it or leave it.” That is not luxury hospitality. That is arrogance and terrible management. A birthday celebration is supposed to be about making memories. Unfortunately, Jamavar made ours memorable for all the wrong reasons. Zero respect for the guest’s time. Zero sense of occasion. Zero accountability. Zero hospitality. And before anyone hides behind the excuse that “restaurants get busy,” being busy is not the issue. Taking a reservation, calling twice to confirm it, knowing it is a birthday, and then making the guest wait nearly an hour is the issue. If you cannot honour a 9 PM reservation, do not take it. If you know you are running behind, communicate honestly and apologise properly. And if a guest has specifically told you they are celebrating a birthday, perhaps show the slightest bit of human consideration. The entire experience felt careless, arrogant and completely disrespectful. For a restaurant associated with The Leela, this level of service is frankly embarrassing. 0/5. Absolutely terrible experience. I would not recommend Jamavar Jaipur to anyone looking for a special occasion dinner. There are plenty of places where guests are treated with far more respect and genuine hospitality. Jamavar needs to seriously rethink its approach to customer service. A luxury restaurant is not defined by its décor, menu or prices — it is defined by how it treats its guests. And tonight, Jamavar failed miserably.

We had an extremely disappointing experience at Mohan Mahal. We made a prior reservation through Zomato, but upon arrival along with our toddler, we were informed that children are not allowed. This critical information was neither mentioned on Zomato nor communicated to us in any way prior to our visit — for a venue which call themselves exclusive did not even bother for a call back for confirmation or a message. The staff seemed unprepared to handle the situation and offered no real assistance other than placing blame on Zomato. There was a complete lack of accountability and empathy, which only added to the frustration. For a place associated with the Leela Palace, the experience was far from the standard one would expect. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this venue based on our visit.

The ambience was great but the food was appalling. For 5000 + taxes thaali the least I expected was Jeera Aloo and mix vegetables on my platter. The chef lacked imagination. The food was something that you can find on any casual dining restaurant. The food quality was also questionable as we felt very heavy eating a few bites. In a nutshell food spoilt the Fantastic experience that the ambience had created. Frankly 1 out of 5 rating. Does not deserve any better.

Terrible experience! The restaurant is overpriced and misleading — they try to push everyone into ordering their thali, which is not worth the money at all. The food was average, portions were small, and the bill was shockingly high. Feels like they’re conning customers with fancy presentation and inflated prices. Definitely not recommended!
