Rawat Restaurant is part of the Rawat hotel and the sweet shop in the next building. The place is on the 2nd floor of the building. Due to the metro elevation it is difficult to see anything from this restaurant and even find this place. The restaurant is not very huge but of decent size and specializes in Indian, Italian and Chinese food. If you need to visit the restroom you will have to climb down a floor. The ambiance is also decent and they have sofas to sit on. We ordered the Kadai Paneer along with Butter Tandoori Roti. The food came out pipping hot but the Kadai Paneer had too much oil in it. The taste of the curry was amazing, loved the use of coriander seeds in it. The Tandoori Roti needs a special mention as it was crispy from outside, just the way I like it. Never had such delicious roti's anywhere else. We also tried their Veg Pulao. The quantity was a bit less compared to the price. But the taste make up for it. The Pulao had veggies like beans, carrots and paneer. Loved it!! The Verdict: Taste - 8/10 Ambiance - 7/10 Service - 8/10 Value for Money - 8/10 Amazing delicious food!!

Went to this place for lunch as was recommended by someone. Firstly got a box of pyaaz kachori packed and then headed to restaurant. Ordered Rajasthani Thali and Daal Baati Churma Thali. Both the thalis has good portion size but failed to impress much, only aloo pyaaz baati was good enough. They have ample of space and sitting at multiple floors. Giving one extra star because pyaaz kachori was very tasty even when I consumed it later that day after reaching back home.

If i have list of most shady restaurants ever visited, this would be in top 5. Rawat hotel is located in a seperate building which it seems also has rooms to stay. The restaurant has 3 floors. The management is the worst i have come across. When you enter, they force you move to the upper Air-conditioned floors. We told them that we are fine sitting at the ground floor.but they won't allow you. This is whole scam by them. The price of a cup of tea at ground floor is 30rs, but on the air conditioned floor in the same building it is 200rs for two meagre cups (prepared by the same kitchen). Basically the ground floor has the main kitchen. We hesitantly moved to the upper floors. The server and staff were so shady. When half the floor was vacant they were forcing new customers to move to another AC Floor. What is this scam? Moving customers from non-ac ro Ac floor then again moving to another AC floor. Shadyyyy! Their AC Floor which was supposed to be premium was dingy, dirty and smelly. 0 for hygiene. We still ordered daal baati choorma thali. The restaurant early crores of revenue doesn't even serve fresh food. The baati are prepared in morning and reheated in microwave for the entire day. I have made baati at home and it doesn't take much time. Another customer sitting next to us was arguing with them because the rice was stale and smelly. It definitely looked dry and stale. Now i understand why people were writing bad reviews about this place. If you complain, then they start being rude to you. So basically they try to scam you by sending you the dingy AC floor where they charge high prices for the same food served on ground floor. Yes, we cross checked the prices. The food was pathetic to the least. Avoid it at all costs please. This is how the mighty fall.

Total waste of money.do not spoil your food.stuff is totally unprofessional.overpriced food. Not a good experience. Ordered tandoori platter. Waiter came and said potato is not available. I said ok give me something else he said shall I do paneer tikka I said ok.. Order came where mushroom is double where paneer quantity is same. I said I asked for paneer tikka. Order replaced.. Had to again wait. Now again order came only kebab and 6 pieces of paneer tikka.. No mushroom now.. I again said why 6 paneer tikka and no mushroom.. Now again had to wait. Now order came only paneer and kebab. It's not the order I gave.. Pathetic experience

Manager doesn't know how to treat guests treat them as if they are his slaves. There is no respect for the guest totally disrespectful and disgusting . We had ordered idli sambar in that sambar n chutney were smelling n taste was also sour as if it was 2/3 days before on complaining manager says " yaha ese he khate hai" also we ordered 3 kachori mixed order came along from another table as well manager treated us as if we were beggers there n picked kachories from our plates . Thirdly staff is also not good should be given zero rating .

I ordered a dal bati thali and they served stale pulao in the thali.I was smelling like 2 days old.The name they have earned till now shows they have taken for granted and the waiter are chilling and don't care to listen.Specially visited here on a one day trip from Mumbai but very bad experience to see such food being served. After this I don't know even if they make fresh food or just serve the old food again and again

The tomato soup was good, but unfortunately, the South Indian dishes fell short of expectations and didn't hit the mark."
