Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Suvarna Mahal. The entire experience felt warm, elegant, and genuinely special from start to finish. The ambiance is stunning — regal and the service staff made the evening even more memorable with their warmth, attentiveness, and hospitality. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully paced for a fine dining experience. A special touch was the complimentary birthday cake, which made the evening feel even more personal and memorable. Overall, a truly lovely fine dining experience and one of the highlights of my Jaipur trip.

Everything is perfect when its Taj and that too at Rambagh . My favourite meal was dahi kebab with a mocktail .. which had fresh banana , mango and some othe juices and syrups ..it's called Rambagh delight or something . Sorry can't remember the name .. Exotic Papad platter and of course a chocolate mousse cake ... A lush green garden , full moon night , a romantic partner by my side and that sight .. I will recommend even this place to re invent the menu ..though .. for this price range , not sure why this 5 star has to stick to so safe menu . Why not experiment and innovate with that muscle of trained man that they can hire .. Why play safe and classy always .. Thankyou for extending me wonderful experience. Will return soon again . This time with my family

This is fine dining at its best. Suvarna Mahal is all about luxury and detail. I had their Awadhi lamb chops, gatte ki sabzi, and a rich kulfi dessert. Each dish tasted like a story told through spices. The candlelit setting makes it feel magical. For me, this is the place I think of when I want to treat myself to something unforgettable.

Had dinner here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. While the ambience and service were excellent, the food was extremely disappointing and not worth the price. We ordered a NV Thali/Set Menu each; the prawn, chicken and lamb starters were hard, overcooked, lacked flavour and were served room temperature. The remaining dishes on the Thalis were very mediocre and again were served at room temperature rather than piping hot. The food did not appear to be fresh and seems to be more fitting for a foreigner’s palate/preference; we’ve had better corn palak, lal maans, mushroom matar, dal makhani, butter chicken in other places. The rotis, ker sanghri and trio of dessert were decent but again not spectacular as one would expect of the Taj or the grand restaurant ambience; the rose petal ice cream was the only dish that was innovative, unique and delicious but that’s also not on the menu as it was served complimentary. We didn’t finish our Thalis as we lost our appetite and didn’t want to take a risk with the food being served at room temperature. We provided feedback to the staff at the time; hoping the food improves drastically for future diners.

The place and the food were excellent. The staff well not so much. Sriparna was looking after our table and service was really poor. I first asked her regarding the various options available and in the middle of the conversation she just disappeared. When she came back I asked if someone can take our order if not her. Then she kept asking another guy to come and take it. But wait that's not the worst part. Upon calling for the cheque I asked if they add service charge in dine-in and requested them to remove it if they do. She informed me that they do not add service charge. All was fine till then but then I overheard her mocking us for having asked to remove service charge to her colleague Harish and another colleague and smirking away. It was very unprofessional for staff of such a prestigious hotel to behave in such a crass manner. I visited there with my parents and this incident made us feel very disrespected and ruined the entire experience. Such judgemental staff members are not expected from any 5 star property. Very highly disappointed.

Me and partner went to Survana Mahal last night. My partner had booked a table 3 days ago our name wasn’t mentioned in their bookings. Despite being dressed in a semi formal attire we were criticised for my partner’s Jaipuri polo shoes. We were asked to sit outside while everyone else started taking a seat in. Now starts the hypocrisy, each and every foreigner dressed in SHORTS, CROCS and clearly dressed outside their dress code was welcomed and offered a seat. My partner and I live in Oxford since the last 4 years, & the amount which this country and such pathetic managers that have never left Jaipur glamourize foreigners is foolish & backward. Visit if you entertain a strong anti nationalist idealism. I know people in the Taj leadership and I’m sure that the manager’s name will be forwarded to the them. Ended up going to TAJ STEAM and as soon as we left, the manager realised his mistake. Steam was good but avoid Survana Mahal at all costs.. Not recommended.

I visited the place on 27/12/22. The food was completely bland. Though the menu looked much more sophisticated than other Taj's but the execution was extremely poor. I've had better food at roadside dhabas. It's high time that they hired chefs based on culinary skills instead of brand.
