This is a small cafe which is obviously famous for its location. You get an awesome view of Hawa Mahal. Honestly I was expecting it to be horrible but it turned out quite decent. They charge 250 per person as cover charge. There is a huge crowd outside waiting for table. We went to the terrace and it was super cramped. Clicked some nice pics and ordered Cold Coffe, Peach Iced tea and vegetable Maggi. All the items were tasty. It was worth it.

I’m a professional travel writer, and I can confidently say that this is the most obnoxious place I have ever come across, anywhere. The staff taking the reservations outside are rude and racially discriminatory — they made us wait for 15-20 mins, saying the cafe was full, while letting foreigners walk-in in front of us. When we confronted them over it, they tried to gaslight us by asking: “Would you be willing to sit in the sun?” The irony is: we had been asking for an outside table for the view, and they had told us that only “inside seating is available”. It’s a place that is known to offer an inferior menu and yet it has a cover charge of Rs 200 per person just for its view of Hawa Mahal. The least it can do to earn that cover charge is offer us a decent seat without looking at the colour of our skin. Indians discriminating against Indians is *chef’s kiss* The nearby Tattoo Cafe & Lounge had a long waiting time and no food! That’s right. They, too, were charging a cover charge of Rs 250 — without any food options, just beverages. (They said the entire staff was on leave; why open the cafe then?) These cafés are trying to leverage their vantage point to get as many cover charges as they can in a day. They don’t give two hoots about serving you anything decent. I get that people want to check something popular off their list and post on social media, but consider this: if you keep paying such businesses for their abysmal treatment of customers, what reason do they have to improve their services or treat you any better?

Despite its stunning location and breathtaking views, our experience at Sundowner was marred by the rude and aggressive staff. The waiter with long hair was particularly unpleasant, requesting that we change tables in a brusque manner. The food service was also subpar. We noticed significant delays with our second order, which seemed intentional so guest leave the table in frustration and they can provide the table to new guest. The brown bread veg grilled sandwich was a disappointment, overpowered by an excessive amount of mayonnaise. Furthermore, the establishment charges a cover fee of ₹250 per person before ordering, which added to our frustration. While the ambiance and views were impressive, the poor service and food quality overshadowed our experience."

This is honestly one of the worst cafes I’ve ever visited. The staff is extremely unprofessional and lack basic courtesy while talking to customers. The entire place survives only because of its prime location and flashy social media ads, but the reality is far from what they showcase. The vibe of the café is very disappointing and not worth the hype. If you are looking for a better experience, I’d strongly recommend visiting the nearby Tattoo Café instead. It offers a far better view, better food, and an overall welcoming atmosphere.

This place is not worth spending any money. The food doesn't have taste at all like they cannot even put salt in their french fries. The place is just over-hyped because of the view of the Hawa Mahal which is good only if you visit at or after sunset. Not recommended at all

Worst cafe, washrooms not cleaned, only money making cafe, no customer satisfaction, totally worst, very bad experience, furnituture were broken, no electricity, no proper staff mangement, bad food, smells bad not hygienic, rats were there where the food was cooking

The chair was broken. My girlfriend almost had a sprain in her ankle. The waiter says he’ll not serve one Coffee. I don’t know why and that’s all. Hope you change your staff .!!

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Coffee was really terrible - just an instant coffee mix with cold water in the name of an Americano!
