We can't wait to try more items on their menu. Had chicken biryani and it was delicious. Food is great and the owner here is very kind. All together it's a different kind of a restaurant. I think we have found a place which serves comfort food and this place is not loud or fancy and we really appreciate that. We need more places like these in town. Definitely my favourite now. Thanks for making our first visit so memorable.

So, after a long time, had egg curry that in the most different manner. Although, its a small restaurant but the food was mind blowing... i was literally drooling over it. so we ordered fresh lime soda, tandoori laccha parantha, kadhai egg curry and tawa roti's. The quality of food was good but the quantity was little less, anyhow finished our lunch. The best thing was it was freshly cooked👗👩❤️💋👩💑💃🏼

Had their chicken kathi roll, it was quite good but just wished for some more filling. It was a take away order but there was no green chutney or mint chutney. Altogether the kathi was good. The owners were really welcoming.

After Reading some very positive reviews and seeing such a vast menu, I planned to visit this place last night. I had nothing to do and felt hungry and couldn't resist the temptation and drove all the way from C scheme to Vaishali Nagar to try this place out. Whenever I looked at their menu, the first thing I wanted to try were the Shammi Kebabs. I was disappointed to know that they were not available then. Like most of the other places, I was advised to have the Seekh Kebabs. What I don't get is how can Seekh Kebabs replace Shammi Kebabs at every restaurant when they are so different from each other? Anyway , I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and an interestingly named dish called "Cocktail Chicken Balls", with a heavy and a broken heart, of course. The Chicken balls tasted very nice. Awesome tender chicken, properly spiced and very neatly made. Chicken Tikka Masala too tasted nice, gravy having a bit unusual but a nice homely taste, they use mustard oil to prepare the dish I guess, that gave an "Achari" feel to it.. nice! Things that I didn't like about the food: 1. Chicken pieces were not roasted, simple boneless chunks of chicken, no proper Tikka was used. No smokey/ marinated flavour. 2. Not a very special Butter Nan. The space is small, ambiance is OK, service is fast and the food is priced reasonably. Bottom line: Great for people living in Vaishali, but if you people want to cater to foodies of the whole city, then maintain the availability of special dishes other wise there is no point in coming to this restaurant when we have market leaders like TALK OF THE TOWN OR NIROS in the neighbourhood.

Eat your food and shut up! (Any food critique will be shoved up your wrong end....) @All: - Read on if you're really enjoy reading genuine food critique - Zed's kitchen is a perfect example of how a 'seemingly' well-spoken restaurateur and a 'seemingly' food-connoisseur can turn out to be a cocky, rude, and customer-feedback-agnostic person. Speaking with owners of eateries like these, will momentarily give you a gleam of hope that there're still folks out there who're serving food out of passion. BUT (and a big BUT), this is a false hope that shatters the moment you order something from them, and if you complain about a dish that you're disappointed with... Then folks, you're set for a mouthful (as one other unfortunate patron discovered below while rating his similar poor experience with the owner here in ratings section. Check out the response screenshot) We ordered an array of oriental dishes from this joint, which after chatting with the English-speaking gent on the other line, we were fairly confident would turn out made well and in adequacy. However, our disappointments were 3-folded: 1. The entire order took 1 hour 10 mins to arrive from within Vaishali. Now I understand this outlet claims to make everything fresh, but guys you're not a Shangri-la or a Michelin-star chain that'll cook things with utmost perfection and finesse and hence take so long! We're talking weekend roadside Chinese comfort food, fellas! 2. If the unmerited delay was not enough, the second blow came in form of a paltry, kid-size meal portion dishes. Now, I'm a large guy with a good appetite so you could probably look at me and for once perhaps scoff off that remark. But guys, one of my guests is a weight-watchers UK member which means they'll watch what they eat very carefully, after literally checking every single ingredient's calorific count, and even she laughed off looking at the quantity of food delivered saying "I could eat these 3 dishes all by myself." You can look how small the content/packaging was that it literally fit in my palm, not even entire hand! 3. Well, I made my second mistake (first being ordering from this place) in calling back to Zed's and sharing my feedback around the quantity. What I received in return was a volley of illogical, rude, pushy and inhospitable excuses from the owner, trying to push my feedback in the bin and thereby making me sound like an idiot! I kept telling the now not-so-gentlemanish sounding guy on the other end, that the quantity really WAS little, but all I got back was that pushy and non-stop remarks on the lines of 'Don't get carried away...This is standard portion....You're incorrect!!' Now guys, I appreciate that you actually took care of at least one request of ours to keep chilly levels below normal, but besides that, everything else in this experience of ours with Zed's was nothing but a horrid ordeal of poor quantity of food, and even worst customer grievance management. It does appear that the owner has either worked in (Read: kicked out of) some hotel/restaurant chain, and hence doesn't take customer critique very well, or this guy is just plain and simple arrogant and a bonehead. Either ways, this place doesn't deserve the attention it unduly catches via speaking with the seemingly educated gent on the line, and least of all our money - all so that we could be yelled at. Coincidentally, Z is also the last alphabet and lets hope these are last days for Zed's too, before any more patrons get humiliated for being served poor and inadequate food.
