What an amazing place. The Bal Samand Lake Palace is a hidden gem, the beauty of which needs to be experienced to be explained. The garden retreat can be visited for lunch and the kebab corner for dinner. The surrounding could not be more beautiful. The garden view has a small bridge and a canal flowing underneath! Recommended for everyone traveling to jodhpur.

We went there for lunch. A peaceful and refreshing getaway. Staff extremely courteous and always look forward to cater to your any kind of need. We had royal thali meal which itself was sufficient for two of us. Just a subji in whole thali we didn't like rest we enjoyed the whole experience.

Its a Heritage Hotel. A bit pricey but a good place to enjoy nature. The hospitality of staff is awesome. Lots of Dancing Peacock around the restro. Don't forget to visit Lake & Pool. Garden Retreat gives you the authentic food with live music.

Been there yesterday..location was very nice and ..royal..but service was bit slow..even they prefer to have old associates..like very old about 60 age..that is good for the associates that they are having work to do..but we feel shame that we are getting served by old man..that feels horrible..I’m not giving 2 for the service..I’m giving 2 for thr food quality ..food quality was bad..they have served papad and kheechiya..and it was so bad..that was cooked in old oil..we told them and they have changed..even dal makhani was not good...and price was so high...

I m visiting Jodhpur after a long time.Went to this restaurant to spend some quality time and fine dining with a friend.we were disappointed at all fronts..be it food quality, presentation or staff cleverness. Pink gin punch was served in water glass with ,no garnish no decoration. They don't know or thought to pass it off to two women as such... All peas were hard in pav bhaji. Stuffed potatos were limpy,half roasted, filled with potato masala and a few raisins.Grilled potato filled with aloo masala....who does that? Even a roadside eatery has better taste.Try some at QWALITY RESTAURANT Cannaught Place Delhi.Rates are same... The last mood upsetting thing was...a cup of tea was ordered, it was served in once in a cup and small kettle was taken away immediately... should have kept it at the table only....we didn't ask again... outing was spoiled...bad food, bad presentation... wasn't expecting this from Balsamand Lake restaurant... should have gone elsewhere...

Ambience was good, location was great but food was not value for money. Really disappointed by the service and food, and my weekend with family was completely ruined.
