For fine dining experience Antarang is ultimate and consistently good place in Kanpur. Food is delicious ( rather consistently delicious) and ambiance is old fashioned great with good music and attentive service..

One of the most premium places in Kanpur to be, it attracts a huge crowd being situated in the food hub of the town. Went with my family for a dinner and had a great experience at this place. The interiors are superb so is the vibe. The prices are bit high though. We went with Dahi ke kebabs in starters paneer lababdar, handi paneer, Dal tadka, Malai kofta along with kashmiri dum biryani plus Butter naan & garlic naan in breads. The food was something to relish, absolutely great..my whole family enjoyed to the core. Though the main course was superb but Unfortunately I didn't liked the dessert it was somewhat average according to the price. The service was excellent with humble and courteous staff, would love being there again..!!

The starters are amazing. Dal makhani is one of the best dishes they have. The food quantity is a bit less and expensive as compared to other restaurants in town.

Being my home town this place was long back one of the places giving fine dining experiences. As i said it was long back and now there are many players in the market. It has very old vibes and menu offers nothing out of the box. Having visited many times I felt the need to write the review after todays experience. We ordered the usualy vegetarian affair of paneer and dal and koftas, which were nothing special to write home about. Though the breads were quiet well done and especially the garlic naan is top class. We ordered the gulab jamun with ice cream to share and it was quiet yummy but there was a piece of butter paper in the ice cream still attached...yikes !!!. The management was quiet apologetic and they wrote it off the bill. But still you dont expect these kind of slipages at these prices. But still i feel the low rating has nothing to do with this incident but the overall I didnt felt blown away ...kind of a meh affair. Go there for the naans and hoepfully live music playing :-)

The service was extremely slow . Moreover the waiters are not attentive. I asked for Butter Tawa Roti & plain Tandoori roti . But they bought the other way round . Moreover they should know that rice should be served only after the breads . They served it together. Not expected such unprofessional service from a big restaurant. I would like to thank Mr. Rajesh Katiyar , the waiter who took charge after the initial waiter had done all the things wrong . Mr. Rajesh was very polite and professional.

I recently visited Antarang and, unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. While the staff were although polite and courteous, the service was noticeably slow, with waiters often absent from the table for extended periods. It became clear this was due to a shortage of staff. For a restaurant that charges premium prices, this is simply unacceptable. The politeness of the staff deserves recognition, but management needs to address the staffing issue to ensure customers receive the quality of service they’re paying for
