Yesterday I visited Studio XO with my friends to watch the live match between India and New Zealand, and it was a great experience. They were screening the match on a big projector with an excellent sound system, which made the atmosphere very exciting. The service was very good, and the food quality was delicious. They were also offering a 20% discount if India won the match. Since it was Women’s Day, they were celebrating with a complimentary shot and a special gift, which was a really nice touch. Although I only stayed for a short time after the match, they had already started a live band performance, which added even more energy to the place. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a perfect place to watch and celebrate the T20 World Cup with friends. Highly recommended! Studio XO is truly one of the most beautiful clubs in Kanpur and a great spot for nightlife.

Had a wonderful experience yesterday at Studio XO, Kanpur with my wife. The atmosphere was amazing and we really enjoyed the live performance by the female artist—it made the evening even more special. The team made the celebration even better by giving us a 20% discount for India’s win, and my wife received a complimentary shot for Women’s Day, which was a lovely gesture. They also gave us a ₹500 gift voucher for our next visit. One of the managers personally came to our table to check on our experience, which showed great hospitality and customer care. Yesterday I visited Studio XO and had such a great time! The vibe of the place is amazing, the team was super friendly, and the whole experience felt really refreshing. Everything was well organized and the energy there just made the visit even more enjoyable. Today I visited with my husband to celebrate our first anniversary, and we truly had a wonderful experience here. The staff attended to us and provided excellent service with a very friendly behavior. As it was Monday evening, the crowd was normal, but the ambience was very nice and comfortable. They also played music as per our request, which made the moment more special. We ordered a nachos platter, cocktails, hakka noodles, and pizza, and all the food items were very delicious. Thank you, Studio XO, for making our day so special. 😊

Really satisfied with the vibe , everything was up to the mark fooding , drinks and shisha as well as the crowd was awesome which helped me and my partner make wonderful memories together, DJ is creating a hype with unexpected twisty songs which turned the day memorable, at last shisha was so flavourful we loved it a lot thanks to mannu, management was helpful they gave me a 10% discount for my first visit thanks to suupriya ma'am.

Today I visited Studio XO in the evening and had a great experience. Even though it was a weekday, the overall vibe was really nice. The service was excellent and the food was also very good. I tried their signature cocktail, and it was absolutely amazing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and definitely worth visiting.

The place , the ambience, food every thing ws fine but when it comes to billing they charged 5 percent service charge , we ask them to get it removed to which it was clearly visible they were not happy doing so bt they did it bt then as we have booked our table through zomato dining to avail the discount provided by the app bt to my surprise they completely denied the discounted payment through app and there reason were aap service charge deduct krvaye hai so u cannot avail discount and even the manager started arguing us to there policy. My point is if you don’t want to give any sort of discount which is completely fine bt then don’t register such discount with third party like zomato swiggy eazydiner as it just misleading for the customer. Seriously very much dissapointed

I recently visited Studio XO Bar with my friends and family, expecting a pleasant evening at what is marketed as one of the newer nightlife spots in Kanpur. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Studio XO is promoted as a premium lounge in Civil Lines offering food, drinks, music, and nightlife entertainment, and it has quickly become known as a party destination in the city. However, based on our experience, the quality of service and customer handling was far below what one would expect from such a place. 1. Misleading Offers and Lack of Transparency On the night we visited, the restaurant was promoting a special offer related to the India match result. However, once the bill arrived, we noticed multiple discrepancies between what was communicated and what was actually applied. When we tried to clarify this with the staff, there was no clear explanation provided. Instead of resolving the issue, the staff simply dismissed our concerns. 2. Denial of Payment Through EazyDiner Before visiting, we had planned to pay using EazyDiner, which was showing active discounts for this restaurant. Such platforms normally partner with restaurants to provide bill discounts and payment offers. However, when we attempted to pay through the app, the restaurant refused to allow the payment, despite the offer being publicly available on the platform. This created confusion and made the promotional listing appear misleading. 3. Compulsory Service Charge Another major concern was the mandatory service charge added to the bill. When we asked if it could be removed, we were told that it was “compulsory as per restaurant policy.” This was surprising and disappointing. Service charge should reflect the quality of service, and in our case the service was far from satisfactory. 4. Poor Staff Behaviour The staff was neither understanding nor customer-friendly. Instead of trying to resolve the situation politely, they appeared indifferent and dismissive. When a customer raises concerns about billing or offers, the least one expects is a calm explanation and willingness to help. 5. Manager’s Response We even requested to speak to the manager. Unfortunately, the response was equally disappointing. The manager simply stated that these were “corporate policies” and that nothing could be done from their side. There was no attempt to listen to the customer or find a middle ground, which reflects poorly on the establishment’s management approach. 6. Overall Impression While the ambience and concept of Studio XO might appear appealing, the customer service, transparency in billing, and professionalism were severely lacking during our visit. A restaurant can recover from minor mistakes, but the unwillingness to address customer concerns and the rigid, dismissive attitude of the staff and management made the experience extremely unpleasant. For a place positioning itself as a premium lounge, customer experience should be a priority. Sadly, that was not the case here. Final Verdict I would strongly recommend that the management of Studio XO: • Ensure transparency in promotional offers • Honour third-party dining app discounts if they are listed • Stop forcing service charges on customers • Train staff and management in basic customer service and dispute handling Until these issues are addressed, I would not recommend this place, especially for people visiting with family or expecting professional hospitality.
