Chettinad Biryani served in Priya Mess in the small town of Karaikudi-. The Heartland of Chettinad Cuisine. It is said that this region is not so suitable for farming due to the soil conditions. Therefore animal husbandry became a source of livelihood. Hence people developed a taste for meats and created recipes ethnic to the region. This led to the evolution of chettinad cuisine. There are many more dishes made using the unique Chettinad Masala. Today Chettinad cuisine is popular globally.

Late Review Sri Priya Mess, Karaikudi is a good restaurant with good south Indian food. We ordered online and we are very satisfied. Taste is not so good but quantity is great. Price is affordable. We ordered from there Mixed Fried Rice.
