Visited this outlet at Angamaly intending to have an evening snack and coffee but ended up ordering the popular Chicken Kapama instead. The waiter who took our order said that a half Kapama would suffice for only 2 people, but there were 4 of us and we were quite full with just the half Kapama. It came in a claypot with a dough covering in a style similar to the "dum-cooking". The aroma when the cover was removed was enticing, with a mixture of yellow seasoned rice, vegetables, herbs, spices and plenty of pieces of shredded chicken. The chicken was absolutely well done and almost melt-in-the-mouth. We also ordered coffees which were also good. The place is done up very well; kudos to the interior designer! With cute colourful lanterns, wooden panelling, large fish tanks with plenty of fresh fish to choose from and spaciousness, it is a delight to look at.

2255 platter. Contains kabab, bbq, cubboos etc.... But it is overpriced. Nice food , super tasty. Recommended for 3 person dish.

After my third visit to Angamaly branch of Alibaba and 41 dishes, i hereby submit my experience. The food taste consistency degraded over the time of the three visits. The Shish tawooq which I ordered during my last visit tasted bland compared to my previous visit where it was excellent. Chilli chicken was also not up to the mark: The food presentation and service were outstanding. Also the ambiance of the restaurant. I highly suggest the management to improve the quality of the food as consistency is the key.

Food was below average and the service too was poor. The mutton was smelling. The chicken stew had and the appams were like dosa and cold 😩

We used to be regular dining customers at Ali Baba Angamaly but unfortunately during the pandemic the quality of the good has gone from good to bad to worse to the point that I stopped ordering from them... Some of their staples like Shawarma and Falooda were really nice but the last time we ordered the food we got curried chicken Shawarma and Falooda with so much essence and no vermicelli and no rose syrup and the wateriest ice cream which tatsted like garam masala got dumped into it...I used to crave their Falooda...it this was a one time problem I could write it off...but we consistently kept ordering every other week thinking it will get better...they had good dine in service but unfortunately it went from bad to worse and I don't think we will ever go back... Sad one of the few places we liked..just unable to keep up with the quality..

You simply pay for the ambience and parking space and nothing more. Finding food served on a PLASTIC/FIBRE PLATE is the worst to find, let along the POOR FOOD served. Recently my relatives did a stint only to be FOOD POISONED altogether. My friends also had a similar experience beforehand.
