I was trying Arabian Mandi for the first time and it was the best place in Fort Kochi according to my friends. The crowd and the swift service told me we were at the right place. A place filled with charcoal smoke imbued with the mesmerizing odour of spices. This place reminded me of the atmosphere we get in the iconic Biryani houses like Arsalan and Aminia in Calcutta. The rice was very light with the meat pieces extremely soft and succulent. The chicken was indeed of a different breed or prepared over days :P
