The service was fast, appam., paratha, ammachi's chicken curry and chicken stew were all awesome. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended

The food was good. We can all try for nice authentic kerala cuisine. We reached in afternoon as we had craving for chatti choru. But the staff said it's available in dinner only. We don't understand why as many people prefer rice during lunch. Please add chatti choru in lunch menu please

The restaurant serves an excellent and really fine food. But the loud music they is clearly not worth the good food though. People go to restaurants to enjoy food with their family, not to break their ear drums. Its a shame the management don't understand the fact that its a restaurant not a pub!

Reduce the water in fish curry & let the kappa cook a little more,it was hard as a rock. But I have to say their tea was amazing….

Great ambience, indifferent service, terrible food.. Not sure what the hype around Arippa is all about.. Tried palappam, fish Molly, alleppey chicken curry, chicken biriyani, porotta and shap-style prawn roast.. More than anything, we were disappointed with the Alleppey chicken curry.. it had deep fried chicken (more like street style kebab) coated in a cashew-base gravy (looking pale yellow green to resemble a coconut base) and loaded with Kasuri Methi which is an ingredient you ll never find in Kerala cuisine.. None of the above has anything to do with a typical Alleppey preparation.. Fish Molly was just plain ordinary, except for raisins in the gravy which I believe was a mistake made by a seemingly North Indian chef inside.. Breads weren’t impressive either.. Prawn roast was the saving grace which we did enjoy. Will not recommend Arippa to anyone who knows about and enjoys Kerala food.. and to unaware tourists, what Arippa Palarivattom serves as local cuisine has nothing to do with real Kerala food, at least based on the preparations we tried and our experience today evening..

Perfect location. They have parking behind the restaurant. Good ambience. Service wise, our server seemed to be a bit lost so cannot comment on the service. We ordered the Rawther chicken biryani, beef pepper curry, dragon chicken, porotta and sweet corn chicken soup. The soup was so salty that my friends could not finish it. The Rawther biryani was ok, I have had better Rawther biryani. The spice was overwhelming and too strong. Dragon chicken and beef curry was ok. The lime tea had too much of lemon. The only highlight was the porotta.

Extremely Disappointing Experience Visited Arippa MG Road with my family and had a horrible experience. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, and service was painfully slow — it took over an hour to get our food, and we had to repeatedly remind the staff to serve us. The manager was unhelpful and indifferent. I ordered the Fish Curry Meals, and what was served was mostly fish bones with cold rice and curry — absolutely unacceptable in terms of quality. Sadly, won’t be returning and do not recommend.

I don't know about other customers, me along with 5 others went for dinner last week and it made all of us to end up in hospital. The food had a foul smell and when we informed the waiter about it he simply ignored us. Later, we all started having terrible stomach pain and are now admitted in hospital. So if you want to a risk, go ahead a try this place. It was terrible idea for us eat from this place l and I regret going there.

Worst place to dine Below average food High bills 40 min waiting to get table 30 min for food to come to table Too oily not well prepared fish fry Eary small ( they call medium ) 1060 rupees It is cheating Management greedy Staff arrogant As staff argued this fish cost thousands for grams Worst experience Do not visit
