We were looking for some place to hog on for dinner, and there we dropped in at Babettu,a vegetarian hub. Located in sarovaram resort, the best place for stay in kochi for a vacation, looks pleasing calm and greenery! We had mushroom masala with naan and roti! The mushroom masala was really yum, was fingerlicking indeed!! We had their special dessert, Babette beauty, with the ice cream topped with nuts and boost! It's was delicious, loved the sprinkle of the boost!! Special mention to their "pazhampori", a must try authentic snack of Kerala, where it's available at all local shop too! Best place to dig in for a vegan meal!

From the time I can remember, BTH Sarovaram was the breakfast stop we used to make while traveling to Cochin from any part of south Kerala. Though slightly pricey for a south Indian food joint, the quality of food is something you can rely on. My recommendation is getting some hot Poori Masala or Masala Dosa finishing it of with a tumbler of hot tea or coffee (I can't recommend just one, both are really good). Also don't leave without bitting into a hot crispy Vada. The only difficulty we had was with the Washroom. They really let it go to waste.
