Excellent food and ambience, one of the best places in Kakkanad to try good food. The only suggestion would be to always ask the waiter for that day recommendations so you get the dishes faster and better tasting ones 😁

Food is good. But the service is very poor. We booked 8 seats and when we reached restorent they are not allow us to give seat, they inform us that reservation from zomato is not priority for them, they prioritized the reservation from direct call booking. Then we contacted zomato help line and after 30 min only we got the seat, till that time thire is no attention or they are not willing to find any alternative.

The food here is actually quite good, but the dining experience was overshadowed by a significant fly problem. When we brought it up, management mentioned their pest control staff was on leave. While I understand staffing issues, hygiene should always be the top priority—even above the food itself. I hope they find a more reliable backup plan soon.

it's a spacious , neat place with a parking facility. also, the menu has an essential mix of cuisine satisfactory for the Indian crowd ( the non vegetarian mostly). but I was highly disappointed with my first experience here ( I should have checked the reviews prior to ordering, btw). As a seafood lover,I naturally ordered half a seafood platter ( 900rs), and they had served a rectangle piece of BASA in it. I was doubtful initially, but it was confirmed by the waiter serving us ( after asking twice). There was no mention of it in the menu either. Prior to paying the bill, the senior in charge ( as the manager had stepped out), went on to explain why the Basa is used ( as it crumble less , it seems) and later he changed by saying that they usually serve Tilapia and as it is out of stock, it was managed with Basa. All this time, I had to explain to him that it's not my first time eating a seafood platter and numerous outlets in COCHIN with the same price tag , give a proper seer fish or a mahi mahi at the very least. And also he discounted 300rs for the sake of it. kindly be transparent either in the menu or communicate better with your customers. and it's not the first time someone was disappointed with this seafood platter issue - if I was told that you are serving this fish, I wouldn't pay 900rs to eat Basa ( no seafood person will ) and also, please don't do the borderline gaslighting. if I have come to eat anything at your restaurant, regardless of the price, I prefer to have the original and not something for the sake of serving or paying a half-hearted discount to settle the problem. Thankyou.

Lacklustre experience at this overhyped place. What was expected and what was delivered was entirely different ball-game. For instance as part of Seafood Platter they are palming off Tilapia(mercury mayhem) and Basa(Cheapskate) which I find a big put off considering you are located in the Queen of the Arabian Ocean. Whatever the heck happened to the good old kingfishes, sea bass, cods, groupers and breams? If it is money mindedness please charge extra but atleast don't fool people by dishing out Tilapia and Basa which are the most cheap-azzz fishes ever. Even the Fish Tawa fry was Basa....seriously? Rest of the food like Paal Kappa, Kabab platter etc was just average....nothing remarkable. Big utter disappointment.
