Tried the special dish 'Chicken Kurkure' along with 'Veg Pulao/Pulav'.  Being the price (of Chicken Kurkure) double the price of Veg Pulao, expected it to be the main dish but unfortunately seemed like a side dish. However, apart from the price tag, had a crisp crackling dish to complete my lunch complemented with quiet ambiance and alert service. P.S. Never before got served with huge chunks of potatoes in Veg Pulao.

The chocolate fudge is a good as it seems to be in the photos. The shakes were of great taste. Soup was ok. Biriyani was more like my kind of biriyani with not too much of onion and all and tasted exemplary. The service was good, friendly staff and it's in an easily reachable location. However, lacks parking.

The standards and taste of food are consistent here over the years. Service is quick. You can always try out this place for a good Kerala biriyani.

Tried fried rice and some chicken,it was good though restaurant was pretty full that time service part was bit delayed ..tasty food but can work condiments for rice ,overall its was good

Big disappointment at Ceylon bake house. Portion sizes are very miniscule compared to the prices. For instance Fish biryani is like a quarter biryani which is served in a palm sized katora. The fish is a very thin size King Mackerel, it's on a bed of oil underneath the rice. Sad. Idiyappam has no grated coconut, pathiri is chewy. Prawns roast was tasting like North Indian flavours- unpalatable. Chicken Varutharacha curry gravy was delish but more bones than flesh. Chicken schezwan Fried rice was packed with monosodium glutomate(ajinomoto). The only dish that was really yummy and well portioned was the Pal Kappa Meen Curry. Soft, melt in the mouth Kappa- must try! Service is very slow and lethargic so no prizes for that. Beverages are a clear eye wash. Coffee is good.

Of all the good things I had heard of Ceylon bake house me and friends decided to visit d place for dinner. First of all there seems to be 2 Ceylon bake house nearby in M G road. V visited this one at Pallimiku.The Restaurant board itself seemed to be funny not a proper board felt like a fraud or copy. Went in and ordered 2 by 3 chicken manchow soup n a chilli chicken dry. Horrible horrible taste. Kept calling staff no one is bothered. No cutlery no plates given after starter was served. We had to keep asking and they say service on finger tips. My friend had the Zomato Gold offer on main course and the guy said it will not work on this outlet but the MG road outlet. We already were disappointed with the soup and starter so v decided to go to some other restaurant for main course. Dunno but felt like it is a fake Ceylon bake house. No proper restaurant board, food was bad and they didn't accept Zomato gold although there was offer for the restaurant.

Found aluminium foil used for dish washing inside Chicken 65 bought from this place. There were two foils in two pieces. I wonder who all had consumed it. It can get fatal if we consume a metal strip. Either their preparation is not in a clean environment. Or they gave me waste food. I will never ever buy food from this place. Very very bad experience.

My family fell sick with food poisoning after ordering chili chicken and another day my sister found a worm in chicken biriyani. This was my fav place but after this incident never went tat way .

Over cooked pasty rice and flavour less chicken ,it was absolute disaster ,will never ever order chicken biriyani from this place !

The amount of Bucket biryani is very low. Do not buy without even knowing that it can be eaten by five people. ⁇ only 3!!!
