Mandi is globally accpeted middle east / Arabic rice dish which is currently available all over the world. Each place having its own versions and preparations style. Al Reem in Kochi is very famous for Kuzhi Mandi. Kuzhi mandi got its name as it is cooked in specially made underground stove of circular shape, made with mud bricks. I believe this restaurant management still follows traditional way to prepare their mandi. Basically I am from UAE tried mandi from Authentic Yemeni restaurant’s. This place serves descent Kerala Mandi version with mayo. I liked Mandi with Garlic Mayo. This is only you will get from Kerala. Al reem restaurant is not ambience type, it is normal typical kerala restaurant not focused into interiors or good signage. But food is awesome for the penny paying. #localfoodspots . Best Kuzhimanthi in Ernakulam! Take my word for it! Exceptionally good! It's really good that they serve two types of chicken, the regular cooked chicken and alfaham style chicken with the rice. The pickle they serve with the manthi is also an absolute delight.

Al reem kuzhimandi is one of the best kuzhimandhi available kochi. Whereever we go, but their mandhi have something special. At an affordable price they are providing good quality and quantity food. Chicken is so well cooked and salads also really nice.

Excellent. I am not a mandhi fan,but the taste and quality of the food is outstanding. Service is also highly satisfactory. Ample car parking facilities. The only concern is the waiting time. Yet, I believe that good things come to people who wait 😊

Good Taste, quantity is some what less when compared with other Kuzhimandhi available restaurants.Good Food and the Kuzhi mandi offered here is yummy🥰 I ordered a half kuzhimandi and was happy with the food and the service provided by zomato .

Awesome food the biriyani is soo different  i love it soo much.Also the interior and the ambiance is soo good. Everyone should try this place. Everyone will like it. Excellent setup and very nice service.

Simply superb!! The quality & taste of the food is breathtaking.The interiors are also nice done and the quantity of food justifies the price tag!

Not a big fan of kuzhimandi, still tried this place because of its fame. This hotel is quite famous in the neighborhood. Vehicle parking facility is good. This place is usually very crowded. Didn't like the ambience. Free chukku kappi after food. We had Alfam kuzhimandi. Serving was okay and didn't take much time.

On Friday, 01 August, after 1:30 PM, my friends and I had normal Alfahm Mandi from Al Reem. Shortly after eating, I started experiencing stomach pain and vomiting. There were also some second-year students from our college who had food from there at the same time. When we asked them, 2–3 of them also reported stomach pain and discomfort.

There is no home delivery If there was home delivery I could have enjoyed the meal I have been there with my cousin but I can't go there alone. Please make home delivery available
