Seagull is a nice location for a quiet meal overlooking the sea and the harbour. They have a wide menu but a clear  focus on sea food and wine. You can choose the fish/sea food you want to eat from the shelf, and the chef prepares the dishes freshly, due to which the average waiting time for the food is around 30 mins. We enjoyed the crab and fish prepared in Kerala style, along with malabar Parotta. They also have a decent play area with a slide and a swing which help in engaging a child especially during the wait for the food.

I don't know why some people are shouting racism. I went there with two friends from Sikkim. Except for the price, I think everything is worth it. Fresh sea food, very well made, and good service. But you can expect a heavy wait time, which is kind of frustrating. A must order item - Squid rings!!

The place is pretty amazing with a picture perfect setting and great food! But the highlight was the young man who served us( believe his name is Siddique) who was super friendly and patient, clicking innumerable pictures for us!

Great place to have food,beer and wine. Have visited seagull 7 years back and still the same. ‘Arun’ who attended was very friendly and great. We liked his service and made our experience even better.

“Discrimination at its Best” The priorities are clear for the restaurant. Having heard the reviews about the place I had gone with my family for a dinner. As I reached restaurant, I wanted to place my name in the queue for getting a table, at reception there was no one present and one of the staff told me to wait till someone arrives. Finally a gentlemen arrived after a while and despite being the first to have reached and waiting in line. He started talking in the local language to people behind and have put their name first in the queue. On enquiring, it was told to me that they are more number of people that is why their name will be written first. When I told I have been waiting here much before them, he blatantly told to wait more. As I was waiting for my turn, I could see all foreigners arriving after us were given tables without any queue. Again I enquired the same at the reception the reason for this discrimination. He had no answer. I told him to call manager of restaurant. He said he is not available now and will be coming after sometime. I asked atleast give him call and tell him that someone wants to meet. He blatantly said, I am the manager and speak to me. I believe the priorities of the restaurant are clear. If you visiting this place be ready for discrimination if you are not use to it. If you are not a foreigner and cannot speak the local language. It would be shown clearly that you are an outsider and not really welcome here. Thank you so Seagull for wonderful treatment. We will always remember your hospitality

this hotel took 1 hr 10 mins to bring an order of fish curry to the table...in todays day and age this is highly inappropriate...waitres cant even keep track of orders and refuse to even accept that it is their mistake...never come to this place if u value ur time and money and expect good service

First day in Kerela, extremely less vegetarian options . Service very very slow. Took them more than an hour to serve us our food. Will not recommend it to anyone

Racism on peak. we ordered food had to wait 1 hour for it, locals sitting next to us got it in 5 mins!
