Most Popular Biriyani Place in Kochi. Located the heart of Kochi Mattancherry. Oldschool place where you will get Kochi Vibes and good Biriyani. Mutton Biriyani is best seller. Try Chicken Biriyani also. Not a ambience place, you may need to wait Min 5-10 minutes to get seated during peak lunch hours.

Lovely Mutton Biriyani,as the meat was soft & succulent,enjoyed the same with Beef Dry Fry and Lime Tea. Beef Dry fry needs to be slight more soft and chewable, otherwise it is nice, crispy,flavourful with fried Curry leaves, onions and a dash of lime

years back tried kayees and i would like to say it's one of the unique biriyani, you should try mutton , no idea about chicken and others. make sure that shop is not closed , they are closing in the occasion of ramzan.

I don’t understand why this is so famous. Mutton quality is very bad. Rice Taste ok ok. Either way it’s like eating ghee soup with rice inside. So much ghee and oil whatever, it’s enough to cause a heart attack just by the look of it. There is atleast a dozen new better Biryani available in kochi

Yay or Nay - Nay I’d suggest to avoid at all costs. Ambience - Unhygenic. Tables are unclean, servers / waiters are very unhygienic, restrooms stink! And zero efforts to ensure plates and bowls are fully clean Service - Below par. Some of them would give you creepy smiles! I’m not sure why they have staff who don’t really know how to interact. I feel bad for them but Kayees used to be a huge brand. Food - Nothing exceptional. A small scale roadside sort of delivery! But trust me roadside shops serve better! Food was below average & we even fell sick after eating! I wish the brand keeps its name high instead of !

The worst restaurant in terms of all the parameters there is to judge. The biriyani is watery, rice quality is below par, meat quality is below par, staff behaviour is just the worst. It's hard to imagine such a great restaurant diminish it's own place so quickly. The management needs to introspect all the aspects of this restaurant again with a clear view and read the reviews with a positive attitude.

Am coming to a restaurant to eat and have some time with ma dear ones, we know that how where we want to seat, here staff not allowing to seat where we like just go to hell bloody idiots , it's not freee am paying for u what u guysss giving.

Tbh I can rarely order kinda expensive food hoping it would be worth the money but it was tasteless and so bad I am do disappointed I don't usually write bad reviews but this was the worst food I have had till date .

Ordered Kayees biryani thinking about the old taste of the biryani big kayikka .Two packets were ordered and we have to discard two packets too ..Waste of money and Bad quality.. Kindly don't make Biryani like this

Don't expect good quality food, gradually reducing the quality however increasing price. Better options are available at ernakulam. I won't recommend this restaurant. Totally waste of money.
