⭐ Very Disappointing Experience – Not What We Expected from a Marriott Property! We had a very disappointing experience at Kettle – Port Muziris, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, Kochi. Before visiting, we specifically called the restaurant to confirm whether it was open, and we were assured that it was. Based on this confirmation, my wife and I decided to visit at around 11:45 PM. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant had no functioning air-conditioning during our visit, and the place was very dusty. The environment was so uncomfortable that both my wife and I experienced allergy symptoms. Instead of enjoying a pleasant dining experience, we found ourselves wanting to leave as quickly as possible. The food was also not particularly impressive, making the overall experience even more disappointing. What surprised us most was that this restaurant is associated with Marriott, a hospitality brand from which we naturally expect high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest care. We had taken the trouble to call ahead, and it would have been much better if we had been informed about the actual conditions at the restaurant before making the journey. We were so uncomfortable that we paid our bill and left immediately, without wanting to spend another minute there. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and looks into the air-conditioning, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. A restaurant carrying the Marriott name should provide guests with a much better experience than this. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment for both of us.
