The food was great, there was a slight problem with our order but they cleared it out in no time. But the AC was not working properly and combined it with spicy food... it was a bit difficult

food taste and quantity were both not great. their veg thalidomide Neal has doubled in price but reduced in one item and once they serve you they don't bother to come back and ask if you need anything. the small cup of dessert should be served hot but they bring it with the meal and its cold already.

We went to Chef Pillai with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was a serious disappointment. We were initially told there would be a 10–15 minute wait, despite seeing several empty tables and an entire vacant section. Once seated, we waited another 25–30 minutes for the food. I understand that some dishes are prepared live, but the food needs to justify the wait. We ordered Kalanji Nirvana, ghee rice, appam, Syrian chicken curry and Ada Pradhaman. I had the Nirvana here about two years ago and remember it being exceptional. This time, the fish did not taste fresh enough. The Syrian chicken curry was bland and the chicken pieces were disappointingly small for the price. The appam was good, while the Ada Pradhaman was just passable. Overall, nothing about the food felt extraordinary enough to justify the pricing, waiting time or the ambience. Given Chef Pillai’s reputation, we expected a far better experience and left genuinely disappointed.

first of all their service it took 1 hr for the dish to come.. next the food was bland the chefs forgot salt existed. Next the mutta appam was not fully cooked. It was like a sunny side omlete with no salt. I think the management should look into the kitchen high time

poor service. leabes us unattended for 20 mins. signature fish dish washing not available. 2nd time in 2 months. been a disappointment. one time can be an abberation, 2 times is a problem

Services are very poor. Rates are abnormally high against quality also quantity. Kindly do not promote the restaurant.
