When it comes to biriyani, we kochi people prefer short rice/kaima. And among the different biriyani spots which uses kaima, mubaraq is our top pick. It's considered one among the oldest and legendary restaurants in Kochi. The biriyani is pretty heavy but they also serve half portions of it. Try the beef fry along with chicken biriyani / chicken fry along with beef biriyani(the second option is the most popular one though).

One of the best places in Cochin to taste one of the best biriyani ..the biriyani is perfect when it comes to quantity and the quality is just amazing for the rate which the offer .

Very good beef biriyani and amaaazing cutlets. We order and left to eat in the comfort of our home, because it was a very hot day and seems like the place doesn’t have AC. Can’t wait to go back for the cutlets.

After seeing some good reviews ,I visited this restaurant last week.orderd chicken biriyani and it is the real Malabar biriyani.masala is good and quantity is ok.

It was my first time ordering from mubaraq. I was aboard the hype train after hearing multiple rave reviews about their biriyani. And hence I ended up ordering a chicken biriyani via zomato. The biriyani was way below expectation and calling it a "dalda" biriyani, instead of "chicken" biriyani would be an understatement. I get it that restaurants have bad days and good and I sympathize with such unfortunate events as well. But what I was served today was so bad that it shouldn't have left the kitchen. You should have had a better quality check of the food before the it is served.

while search for good food i choose 1 item and press (place order) but i strongly believe that next step comming means payment methed but nothing happening (place order) directly go to the hotel. suddenly i call delivery boy before he catch the food asper his suggestions i do cancel process. But zomato charged me 2,25 rupees as cancellation fee. the actual cost of the food (poratha) is 180 only and the serious matter is i ordered food is not cooking food after my order passed. so i never use this type of fraud apps like zomato. goodbye

Cheating manager and cashier. Took money twice and did not agree. Funny and alarming how all staff gather around and pressurized for paying again. not good place for families. Extremely rude staff

I ordered beef Biriyani today, beef was very hard to eat. I like soft beef which is good to eat, make it looks more tasty. Not satisfied at all.
