One of my most favorite restaurants from my Dubai time. Now I finally got to try it in Kochi/ India. Located in Lulu Mall, they are on different levels and seating space is good enough. The ambiance is nice and simple, what adds to it is the atmosphere created by the live counters and food displays. The menu is full of options to choose from. I went for the Syrian chicken curry along with Malabar Parotta and it was so good. The chicken curry was delicious, medium thick and flavorful. The parotha was of the best quality you can get, also had the ceylon parotha. The only minus was that appam was not available during my visit. Also had a portion of ghee rice to finish the curry and it went so well with it. Had the lemon tea to finish off and it was the perfect end to the meal. Service is good and the staff is attentive. The portion size is quite good, I had half a portion which was good enough. Pricing is apt for the quality and not expensive. Ambiance - 4.5/5 Service - 4/5 Food Quality/ Presentation - 5/5 Taste - 4.5/5 Portion size - 5/5 Value for money - 4.5/5 Overall rating - 4.5/5

Fantastic food. We dined in. Everything we ordered was good. I'm surprised at the low reviews. Haven't heard anything bad from the Cochiites who are regulars there either. And the lines extending outside the door kind of prove otherwise.

Food: Traditional French soup - Chicken soup in a bread pot; looked great with minimal meat though; freaking hot, smooth, with the bread it was different, not sure if I liked it or not πŸ€” Beef chili - Beef tossed in dry chilies and curry leaves; unfortunately the meat was cooked inconsistently with a few being hard and rubbery; the masala was perfect and spicy enough for my buds but the Beef was Meh πŸ˜” Kozhi Kunji pori - Fried chicken with coarse masala; if only it was BL it would've been a bliss to dig in but the bones kept hindering everywhere, a bit oily, OK πŸ«₯ Chicken biryani - Specialty dum biryani cooked in kaima rice and naadan kozhi; served with inji-puli and papadam, this was adipoli!! If only there was more meat, this would've been the best!! 😊 Dancing tea - What if there's so much froth on top of your tea essence, it wiggles, that's what Dancing tea is all about; flavors of Malabar chaya with a milky froth, good!! 😚 Rainbow cake - A 7- layer cake with all different flavors; scoop it down to grab a single bite of all flavors at once, BLOODY SWEET!! 😊 Ambiance/Price: Since they're located right inside the Lulu mall, parking wouldn't be a problem. They also have separate spaces for takeaway and dining, thereby huge seating space. At times the waiting time gets high for table and meal, so we've to bear with that. The service was courteous with recommendations but unfortunately didn't work for me. On the price front, they're on the expensive end citing their nativity but I didn't find any kick in their dishes, TYPICAL, woahh prices!!

Having been an ardent exponent of Paragon and Salkara in Dubai, both in Karama and Al Nahda, this one was an utter put off. Firstly the seemingly never ending wait of one hour plus. It was jam packed, hot and humid outside in the waiting area; however you toil on expecting great food to roll your way and what do you get? Stiff, chewy porottas, watery gravies especially varutharacha kozhikkari, the days special, very less portion size. This place has gone down from iconic to moneyminded for sure. Quality has deteriorated to something which are reminiscent of leftover food. Very very dis appointed and flabber gasted.

Got takeaway from Paragon in Lulu Mall. I ordered a mutton biryani and chicken biryani. Mutton biryani was amazing, paired with a minty coconut chutney and raita. The chicken biryani was mediocre but the experience turned disappointing when we bit onto a hard plastic piece. Was quite shocked considering I heard a lot of positive reviews about this place.

is this restaurant still owned by the legendary Paragon in Calicut? ordered chicken biryani and got plain Biryani rice and dry chicken piece, never had such a blunt Biryani in my life. When I complained , they gave me a small plate of Masala seperately. Squid Masala and Wheat porotta was tasty, but all over we feel a lack of quality..., 😞

read @tasteatlas article praising it's biriani. looks like taste atlas never had biriyani elsewhere. paradise biriyani is pathetic. over cooke rice and mutton. to top it fullness splinters bones that ruins it completely. the only thing worth eating is the Malabar parotta. however the best accompaniment is the Raitha. crab is crappy, fish is tasteless
