Pepper Restaurant at Taj Malabar Resort & Spa became our go-to spot for meals during our stay. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast here every morning, and we also had lunch on one of the days, so it quickly felt familiar and comforting. The buffet breakfast was a great way to start each day. There was plenty of variety, Indian as well as continental, and I liked how you could keep your plate simple or try something different every morning. Fresh fruits, bakery items, eggs made to order, South Indian favourites, and a mix of warm dishes made it feel wholesome and satisfying without being overwhelming. It was the kind of breakfast where you could take your time and ease into the day. We also had lunch at Pepper, which again was a buffet, and it carried the same multi-cuisine approach. The spread was thoughtfully put together, with enough options for different tastes, and everything felt fresh and well prepared. It was relaxed, filling, and perfect for a leisurely afternoon meal. What really stood out for me was how easy and comfortable the whole experience felt. The restaurant has a pleasant, calm vibe, and the service was warm and attentive without ever being intrusive. Meals here never felt rushed, which made a big difference. Overall, Pepper is a reliable, enjoyable buffet restaurant that adds a lot to the stay at Taj Malabar. Good food, variety, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s the kind of place you’re happy to return to again and again during your holiday.

The most elegant and peaceful dine out place in kochi facing the backwaters had always been a favourable place since times unknown. Doesn't have the flashy crowd but just the classy ones

Really nice place to have food with family or loved ones. Had fillet mignon and grilled fish, both dishs are really good. Staffs are really polite.

PEPPER at TAJ MALABAR is amazing when it comes to delicious spread of BUFFET!! I stayed here from 20-23 June when I was on my office offsite. TheTAJ MALABAR is amazing with most rooms sea facing. Avoid rooms on 1st floor as u wont get the view of the SEA!! Coming to pepper... the breakfast spread is soo lavish that u start thinking what delicacies u will savour at LUNCH/DINNER.. Everything from sweet to savory was perfect.. VEG/NONVEG all possible varieties n few KERALA specialities too were on the menu... Check out the pics for more details...

We went on a weekday evening around 2300 hours the place was calm and quite . They had a special menu as they were celebrating Indus Valley Month.The staff is courteous and friendly, you will fall in love with this place,it has a typical touch of South India. Recommendations: Paneer Butter Masala Dahi di tikki Mixture roti Dal Makhani - Tell them to make it spicy and add some more masala.

Loved the food served here . Did the buffet breakfast on the days we were here . Did A la carte for other meals . The Karimeen, the Red snapper were just awesome . Appams were outstanding . Delightful culinary experience . Service - very Taj like - very professional and courteous .

It's got the ambience of a 5 star, as expected, and same with the prices. However, the service is pretty slow.. Took almost an hour for our food to arrive, and over 30 mins for our drinks. It was tasty, but not out of the world..

Beautiful view, good outdoor seating, excellent service, helpful staff, good live music Variety of food for the brunch buffet was less for the price, dessert options finished quickly and refilling was not done quickly

I missed the buffet experience this time, We have taken a year ago. Overall hospitality is great however you need to have patience to wait for food a little longer.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff Tried lunch buffet on weekdays. Expected a 5 star touch in the buffet. Presentation is not upto the mark. First timers a good experience..
