Our friend in Kochi was much excited to take us to her favourite restaurant in the neighbourhood - Rochas Portuguese Grill House. Though treading cautiously, the excitement rubbed on to us and the place didn't disappoint either! It was decorated for Christmas, so the vibes were joyous. We ordered Chicken Espetada, Honey BBQ Wings and Fish Steak. All dishes came in satiating portions. Chicken Espetada was as scrumptious and succulent as it gets, with juices dripping down the skewers onto the rice below. The taste still lingers in my mouth. Honey BBQ Wings - best BBQ sauce that I've ever tasted, wings were perfectly roasted and sides were well prepared too. Fish Steak - ranked the last amongst the dishes we tried but by no means was it not likeable. With the right amount of spice, the broth added to its taste. Though we were full to the brim, we couldn't resist the urge to try their Decadence Cake and I'm glad we didn't. It was cherry on the top. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone, also because of the warmth with which the food was served. One of the best finds (of our friend, of course) 😁

Great food and great ambience, with helpful wait staff. The Poutine, Chicken Espetadas and the Beef Brisket Prego in particular were absolutely delightful, and are definite must-haves if you're around Kakkanad. My one gripe- parking is kinda limited, and was a pain even on a Wednesday night so I am terrified thinking of how it might be on weekends.

Tried their Pork chops rice bowl, Beef poutini and Mushroom- Broccoli soup. All the dishes were fantastic. Would recommend this place to those who appreciate Continental fare.

After going through a lot of reviews, we went to Rochas cafe for having breakfast. I really wanted to try their Shakshuka but sadly that was not available. So we ordered their English breakfast. Yum yum yum. I have not had such perfect crisp bacon since a longgg time. Thankyou Rochas for that. Perfect French eggs, baked beans, tomato, garlic bread. Not giving 5 stars because of the long waiting time. Would definitely go again to try their other dishes.

Disappointed in the quantity compared to what is elaborated on the menu. We ordered the breakfast & the quantity in terms of veggies, bacon was so little. Barely enough for one bite. Additionally, of the two egg types we ordered, only one was provided. We had to contact customer support and get refunded for the missing item. The menu mentioned English muffin as part of the breakfast but instead we got toast. For Rs 655 price tag for the breakfast, the quantity and quality was a big let down. Likely not going to be ordering the breakfast again. Attached pic for reference.

Beef Stroganoff Rice Bowl , this is the first time I ordered from Rochas,along with Smoked Peri Peri Chicken and Cafreal Chicken Rice. Taste of Beef Stroganoff was good,I had posted a requested whole recipe ordering to cook the meat well. Gravy was tasty, but the beef was not cooked well.It needs to be cooked well and good portions to be used. The rates being high, there should be no compromise on quality.For the Cafreal also smoked Chicken was used

Didn’t feel the food was worth the money paid and more than an hour waiting time is too long. The beef steak was really good, other than that it was just okay!

Had heard amazing reviews about the food here. Unfortunately the prices (Christmas/New Year menu) was ridiculous to even try. I understand the prices will be back to normal around mid-jan so might be worth trying then but until then steer clear. Coming to what we did have. We tried their White Cinnabon... again pricy but we were curious so tried it. Omg, it tasted liked nothing. like no salt, no sugar and zero cinnamon (except the scanty amount sprinkled on top). I mean I get that it's supposed to be white and hence no brown sugar...but the entire point of a Cinnabon is that there is this sweet buttery cinnamon flavour inside the rolls. But what it tasted like was just pure 'unsalted' butter. i mean even if it was salted butter it would have tasted like warm bread with table butter. But this unfortunately tasted so bad. Ideally should give only 1 star - but giving two stars cause the ambience is lovely and the espresso wasn't so bad.

If you are ready to wait 75 mins for your food, please go ahead to order. Even though we ordered in advance through phone, and we reached already late than the time they assured the food would be ready, they made us wait another 40 to serve. Meat was not cooked well good. Have had better grills and worth the money from other restaurants. Hope atleast you speed up your services

The dishes were cold when they were served, almost as if they were sitting on the counter for a while. The taste was bland and unremarkable, and for the premium it asks, the place is absolutely unworthy!
