This was my first visit to cochin, I wanted to have delicious sea food. Luckily , I got to know about this place by Google search. It's close to the international airport. I was scared , how I would communicate as I didn't know malyalam. Again I was lucky as the waiters could speak English and hindi. I asked them the restaurants best dishes, the sea food was so delicious. The place was very clean and excellent ambience. Something to must try there would be the fish mango curry( King fish) and the kanthari tawa fish ( basa fish). Great food, attitude and service...kudos

We dine in salkara once and we couldn't stop think about going there , their mutton briyani was to notch and the taste of the items are really good, even though the place is always crowded the service was good too.

The food is just amazing. The beef, fresh fish, wheat parota. Everything is very very good. Very good Malabar cuisine.

A perfect place to grab that biriyani before you leave the Gods Own Country...consistent in taste , the biriyani has always been the mainstay for salkara..accompanying the king was mathee pepper ( naadan mathee fry)...good crisp ones and fried to perfection...liked the food very much...the location makes it very easily approachable...

Ever want to have an appam and stew early in the morning this is your place. The perfect stew no where else in Ernakulam. Remember to soak the appam in the stew

Pathetic attitude of the staff Not at all recommended esp for vegetarians Most of the items were finished when we ordered in dine in Food taste was also not good. We went there on someone's recommendation but were really disappointed.
