Shawarma Daddy is an amazing restaurant that whips up some jawdropping food !! Happy and satisfied . Red chilly bbq nd Seaclaid peanut is my fav ♥️

This is one of the recommendations from a friend to try when in Kochi, especially for their shawarma. I went based on that and the place looks quite good. They have an open kitchen downstairs and a couple of tables with mostly people doing take aways. Upstairs they have a dining section with a good ambiance and decent enough seating space. The menu has a number of options in shawarma, tawa rolls, BBQ chicken and many more. I started with their chicken shawarma roll which was not that great. A bit disappointing I would say as it tasted very bland. The shawarma came in a roomali roti and as you can see by the pics the filling was not enough. Quite less filling and that too more of the lettuce. The mayo they use is the culprit as it didn't have any taste. Luckily, I had also ordered the red chilli BBQ which was amazing. The chicken was a good portion size, marinated well, spicy and tasted so good. One of the better ones I had in Kochi. The chicken was served with Roomali roti which was good, the mayo dip was the same as the shawarma and a green chutney. The mayo dip was not required as the chicken tasted better without it, the green chutney however was good. Service was decent but a bit slow. It was interesting that they had a kind of a food lift going up and down with the food from the kitchen downstairs to the seating area up. They are a bit pricey I would say, especially the shawarma. Ambiance - 4.5/5 Service - 3.5/5 Food Quality/ Presentation - 4/5 Taste - 3.5/5 Portion size - 4/5 Value for money - 3.5/5 Overall rating - 3.75/5

Spicy special daddy Shawarma was good and on point.Order red chilli bbq which wasn’t that spicy tbh….customer service was bad we order 2 juices and we had to cancel it because they took more than 1 hr even after we finished eating we didn’t get it.

Such a cute shawarma for 153. Scamming people. I can buy more than half kg chicken for 150. Its just a shawarma. U cant charge more than 90 for this.

I do not recommend this place. The grill and scullery is dir ty and un hygeinic with some fo ul odour. Shawarmas are very small and so miniscule are the fillings for the price charged and so are the BBQs which are in reality modified alfahms. The staff also is not very welcoming with an air about themselves. Tried Daddys Special Shawarma and a Qtr chest BBQ Texan. Very below average in taste. Only thing good here is the view from the top floor which overlooks the highway. Overall, not my kind of place.

Red Chilly BBQ is basically the exact same thing as a spicy Al faham that you get for 100-120 rs. Quantity is very low, and I didn’t get the extra rumali roti’s I ordered. When I called the restaurant they gave silly excuses and told me they’d give me an extra roti in my next order. I’m like how are they gonna do it??? Food is absolutely not worth it from this place. This place has been overhyped by some paid food reviewers.

There was absolutely no salt in the shawarma. Won’t order again from here. There was enough meat etc, but the taste was missing.
