In Kolhapur in the old city area i heard of this place MM Masura and finally visited today. It is a gem for vegetarian foodies who love masoor dal, pitla and bhakri. Ambience: It is good not very swanky but comfortable seating for family. Food: We ordered Akkha masoor, methi besan/ pitla, Jowar bhakri with ghee, Khuska rice, fried onions, Matka dahi and solkadi. All the dishes served were very very good. No scope for any complaints. The masoor and methi besan was outstanding, delicious and flavorful. Solkadi was also very tasty and not on sweeter side which I liked the most. None of the food was spicy however very tasty. If you want to make it spicy they provide green chilli thecha which was also very good and fresh. Matka dahi was also very good however it was in a kulhad. Don't know why they called it Matka as Matka is big. Anyhow curd was also very good . All this good quality food at reasonable prices. A big thumbs-up. Service: It was also very good and prompt. I wish this type of quality and quantity of food We could get in Pune at reasonable prices. Pune food is unnecessarily priced very very high. I highly recommend this food joint in Kolhapur. :)
