Nice service and ambience with shelves full of Bengali books. Ordered English breakfast and masal tea with a slice of coffee walnut cake. All good except eggs were too well done with firm yolks.

Last time I visited this place was pre-Covid. But after my recent visit today, I'm being forced to give 1 star solely because of the horrible service. No cutlery or tissues provided on the tables, the same had to be asked for multiple times in order to get them. Water was not provided. Even after the food was served, there were no plates to eat the food from! When asked for plates, the response received was "they are being washed, will take time." Among the items we had ordered were brownie with ice cream, and fried chicken. It's common knowledge that you'll serve the savory items first and dessert later. However, they brought out the dessert first, saying that the chicken was not ready yet. Even the brownie was barely room temp and not served hot. Quality of food was fine but very disappointed with service.

Have been there to Abar baithak many times earlier with my wife,it was a go to place for us,today in jodhpur gone there with family,it was horrible experience,non cooperative service..we ordered 2nd plate of sandwich,1st person took the order,15-20mins after asked 2nd person he said it's under process then after 20mins when I enquired as I came there wid my daughter 2yrs being taking long time they told me what has been ordered? who did u gave the order and finally realised it was their mistake said that person did not give the order in kitchen. pathetic experience with my little daughter.

Visited the Jodhpur Park outlet seeing 4.3 rating on Zomato but the place was a let down. We ordered coffee, fish and chips and prawns in spanish style. The coffee was just pathetic. Fish was dry and prawns were decent. Not too sure if i would visit again.

I ordered a take away for 8 Fish fries. The fish was stale with a very thick coating of bread crumbs. The quality of the fish was extremely poor to say the least. They charge close to 250/- per piece. Total waste of money.
