Last Saturday, Sep 9, I have taken a parcel of a special mutton biryani, a regular mutton biryani and mutton keema. Price for special mutton biryani was 520 and the regular one was 310. The Keema cost was 230. The taste of the biryani was very satisfying and what we wanted from a good Kolkata biryani. No extra fragrance of atar / kewra. It was well balanced and well equipped with a good chunky piece of mutton and aloo. I had not asked for a nalli piece but was very happy to get in both of my biryanis :) Mutton was well cooked though it was not like falling down from bone but not stiff as well. I would say you would like the bite in a good way. Quantity is more than sufficient for a heavy eater as well. One thing to mention is that the aloo was on the sweeter side. Not sure if it was a chandramukhi or Jyoti. The keema was a little bit spicy but went well with roomali roti ( I had not taken roomali roti from here). As a whole I would highly recommend this place. One of the finest biryani in the city right now as well as value for money in terms of quantity and mutton size. Better you take away and enjoy your home as they have very limited seating arrangements there and those are non AC.

Heard about Akram's from many food bloggers. Tried it for the first time and it was really worth it. The mutton piece was chunky and fatty for which they are famous. Rice quality was good and quantity too was more than enough for one person's appetite. They don't serve egg but the alloo was very decent in size and taste. Will definitely recommend it to every biryani lover. One thing should be noted that ordering from Zomato or Swiggy will cost you more than you can imagine, so it's better you visit the place for takeaway. The actual price as of now for takeaway is 300 for Mutton biryani and 500 for Special Mutton biryani. No hard feelings Zomato. After all it's business.

Got to eat such awesome biryani after a long time, in front of my house, better taste than Arsalan and Karim's biryani and also available in budget.. Their restaurant should be further developed and their dining area should also be done. Aise hi aacha khilate raho aur pyar failate raho

I've opted for Special mutton biryani which cost 500. Taste wise and overall the biriyani was good. Mutton pieces were also decent. To mention, if you are taking this as a parcel then the quantity is not enough for two people. They mentioned it would be enough for three but the quantity would accommodate only one adult and a kid. Overall decent experience.

at present they are fraudulent, they are serving mutton biriyani in 1000ml rather than in 1200ml container , price is much higher than their printed menu card , they are charging Rs 430/- in online but printed menu price is Rs 300/-

Frequent at this joint had roughly visited 6-7 times. On initial days Taste ,quality and Quantity was great. U can compare with named Briyani joints or even Better. But on recent days quality/quantity and taste deteriorated to rock bottom. It's at par with mushroomed Briyani outlets of locality. IF this Continues the FAME earned like Rocket would be grounded with BANG. ALARM BELLS 🔔 ARE RINGING. LOOK INTO YOUR USP BEFORE ITS LATE. its for Akrams Aurobindo Sarani Franchise OUTLET
