We dropped in by chance but the Food was awesome 👍. We were there at Lunch time and had starters and some main course. The variety and quality of their snacks / starters are well known but the quality of newly added main courses left us mesmerized. We had butter rice with chicken steak, Mutton Stew with Garlic Bread and mutton kasa with their special healthy Paratha (70% Atta and 30% Maida). Each and every item was very uniquely tasty. The most beautiful part was listening of their rich history from the owner while enjoying the century old food. Thanks Chef Jayanta Saha for taking us down the memory lane.

Food taste and quality is outstanding. Price is totally justified, and best thing ever is prawn cutlet. Also we have tried chicken breast cutlet, fish roll, fish kabiraji, hot garlic mixed fried rice, chicken 65. Loved all the items, and the gondhoraj mojito is to die for it's that good. Highly recommended. Gonna visit again for sure. True heritage of Kolkata.

A food lovers paradise , long lost recipies of chicken stew and prawn cutlet comes alive here. The rolls and cutlets are delicious .Livened up with tangy dips and mustard. All food cooked in Deshi Ghee a huge plus point. A great gastronomic journey for connoisseurs looking for Bengali snacks and old time stews. A must visit for all upcoming chefs.

The heritage restaurant has maintained its name with this branch in South Kolkata as well. The food quality is great. And all food are value for money. Although the place is bit small and gets overcrowded at times but that’s the beauty of a heritage restaurant. Enjoyed my time here.

I did not experience such a good food in recent years. The taste remains with you for long. Prawn cutlet is their forte. Don't miss the food here. It's awesome.

Allen's Kitchen in the South! A much awaited food joint that I love. The owner is very friendly. He is the fourth generation of Allen's. Ample seating space. Good location. Besides Chittaranjan Seva Sadan. I was asked to go to Bhajahari Manna, but Allen's I cannot afford to miss. The prawn cutlet was amazing. The Virgin mojito was very tasty. The chicken stew however was a but spicy what with lots of capsicum in it. Otherwise the broth was heart warming.

If there had been a option for "Zero" i would have rated them "0".. ordered chicken fillet...served us a quarter bread.... If these jokers don't know how to cook...why the hell they opened a restaurant....
