Flooded promotions on social media have played a big role in this brand's growing popularity, and this new branch at Sodepur maintains a decent family dining ambiance. In 2025, where most dishes at family restaurants are priced between Rs. 300-500, this place still offers dishes in the range of Rs. 160-250. So, it's definitely a great value for money and provides a wonderful experience. Virgin Mojito @ Rs.70 (5/5) Masala Soda @ Rs.70 (5/5) Crispy Chicken @ Rs.180 (4/5) The mocktails here were surprisingly good—perfectly balanced in flavor and sweetness. Plus, they don't overcharge like many other places that price their mocktails at Rs. 200 or more. However, if you're ordering some of the more irregular dishes, like Chinese items, be prepared for a wait. We ordered the Crispy Chicken, and it took an hour to arrive. The portion size was a bit smaller, but for Rs. 180, it was still reasonable. The taste was good too. Mutton Liver @ Rs.200 (3/5) Special Mutton Biryani @ Rs.620 (5/5) The mutton liver is a famous dish here, though I'm not personally a fan. However, they are known for their large, fatty, juicy, well-cooked mutton pieces in their Biryani, and they absolutely deliver on that front. The Biryani at the dining location is a bit less spicy and oily compared to the one at their old Barrackpore restaurant, and I actually found it to taste better. Overall, this is a great family restaurant, especially for fans of Barrackpore-style Biryani. A must-visit!

Had Mutton Biryani with Coke and it turned out to be a satisfying meal. The biryani was served hot with long, well-cooked rice and a rich aroma of spices. The mutton pieces were tender and nicely cooked, absorbing the flavours well without being overly oily. The masala was balanced, not too heavy, making the plate easy to finish. Portion size was generous and filling. Paired it with a chilled Coke, which went perfectly with the richness of the biryani. The usual onion and green chutney on the side added freshness. Overall, a good biryani spot. Worth visiting if you enjoy a straightforward, flavourful mutton biryani experience.

This is the first time I tried Anirban's Biryani after separation from D Bapi, and honestly speaking, in terms of taste-rice quality and everything else I found Anirban's Biryani to be much better than D Bapi's Biryani. Moreover, I truly understood today what Anirban Da had said after the separation that they have tried to improve the quality of their biryani significantly, and yes they have succeeded 👍🏻 4.9 ⭐ out of 5

Writing this review after a few hours of visiting. Quite a well known place and very easy to locate. We were 4 people and went there to try their newly launched Bengali Thalis (got to know about them from a few social media reels). There was huge rush when we reached and booked our slot. Though it was Sunday, still, we had no idea that we ould face this much of crowd. Whole place is neatly decorated and the people who were coordinating were fast , humble and courteous. Food quality was impressive. Mocktails were garnished in a nice way. We took pepper garlic fish(4.5/5) as starter. Ordered 2 prawn thali(5/5) and 2 mutton thali(4.5/5) and 3 mocktails(Fruit punch being the best one). Thalis are very much budget friendly, well cooked and delicious. Big size prawns were served, mutton quality needs a special mention. Will try their biryani and other mughlai dishes in our next visit.

Pathetic Experience Third Class Restaurant Not recommended at all. 1) Service: You can't understand where you seat no one cares about that. You just wait long long time no one comes to you for taking order. 2) Ambience: Ambience is not upto the mark. Due to food vloggers influence restaurant is very crowded and you have to share your table with others . IF THE TASTE OF THE FOODS ARE GOOD THEN ABOVE PARAMETERS CAN BE NEGOTIABLE BUT... 3) Food: We ordered Chicken Malai Kabab, Mutton Biriyani, Mutton Rezala. Chicken Malai Kebab- Chickens are Very Hard and as well as cold. Tastes are very bad. Mutton Biriyani - You get much much better biriyani any location near by you than this biriyani. I never expect this type of bad worst biriyani from this reputed restaurant. Mutton Rezala: It's also cold and hard to chew. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL...

I had ordered for a chicken, a special mutton and an aloo biryani. waited for 1 hour. Showed it was delayed. we still considered because we understand its new year and there must be rush. we were then told to wait for another 1 hour out of no where, waiting time kept increasing. it was 2.5 hours then when we called the support. then we were informed the resturant has told the delivery boy that they were out of stock. Anirban, you've cheated us. how can a restaurant go out of stock after 2.5 hours? You've failed as a hotelier. We really doubt if you'd be able to keep the legacy of D Bapi up. (no matter how many times you change the name).

Poor seating arrangements, asked us to share table with comparatively unhygienic ambience. Staff behaviour was not upto the mark. This was my first visit but got really returned with really poor experience.
