To spice up the wintry evening, me along with my friend went to Bachchan's dhaba. We ordered makke di roti, sarson da saag, chicken tikka masala. The food was too good. All the three dishes are worthy to try. The Chicken tikka masala was a perfect blend of masala gravy, tender and juicy chicken pieces and smoky flavour- a must recommend. I had also picked up egg tadka for my family but ended up being disappointed since the tadka was a no match to what I had eaten few years back.It lacked proper spicy taste that a tadka must have.

Food quality & ambience both are great! We took a north indian dish alongside biriyani. A good place to have dine with friends, family.

I went today to have lunch at the dhaba. Seeing I was alone the manager immediately told me to take the sharing chair at the AC place and told me there was waiting. But amusingly there was no waiting outside. Nonetheless I sat at a chair. Then I got the menu and ordered Jal Jeera. Waited 15 mins for the same. Then ordered my meal of 2 butter roti and one Kadhai Paneer. The food came first. Jal jeera didn’t come. Had to request 2/3 times for the same. Moreover for even ordering food I had to ask atleast 6-7 waiters to take the order. Everyone seemed to ignore or show themselves excessively busy even though it was only 70-75% full. Now coming to the food. Taste was good. Quantity also ok. But found Kadhai paneer to be too greasy. But it was good. Staff behaviour is not up to the mark. Food quality is good. Place is well located. But the food is not that wow as told by some food blogg rs.

One of the most visited place in Kalighat area. We went at Astami night. Crowd & service both was good. We ordered- ✅ Chicken Tandoori full 4 pcs. ✅Chicken Noodles ✅Mutton Biryani ✅Rumai Roti ✅ Chicken Tikka Butter Masala Coming to the taste- Chicken Noodles was not at all good. Biryani was good in taste. Roti n chiken tikka butter masala was also good. I will recommend for biryani to everyone. Chicken tandoori was very dry & didn’t like it.

Located conveniently near Kalighat Metro Station, Bachchan's Dhaba is often bustling with patrons. However, my recent experience there left much to be desired. **Ambience:** The restaurant spans three floors—two air-conditioned and one non-AC—but there's little to commend about the ambience. We were initially seated in a waiting area with an unpleasant odor, and despite waiting over 40 minutes to be seated, the poor management allowed others who arrived after us to be seated first. **Service:** Once inside, we endured another 30-minute wait before our order was taken, only to find that more than half of the menu items were unavailable. **Food:** Our order consisted of: - Chicken Kadhai - Two Chicken Kormas - Mutton Biryani - Chicken Biryani - Chicken Bharta - Seven Garlic Naans - Four Mocktails The total bill for our party of six came to ₹2646. Unfortunately, the quality and quantity of the food did not justify the price. All the gravies tasted remarkably similar, with the Chicken Kadhai and Bharta indistinguishable from each other. The Korma lacked its characteristic sweetness, and the portion sizes of the biryanis were disappointingly small, insufficient even for one person. **Overall:** Given the poor service, lack of variety, and disappointing food quality, I would not recommend Bachchan's Dhaba. The experience fell far short of expectations, especially considering the premium pricing.

I ordered paneer butter masala from Bachan Dhaba, and it was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had. The gravy was watery and tasteless, as if they just mixed water with some masala. There were only 8 tiny cubes of paneer, which were hard, rubbery, and impossible to chew. The portion sizes of other items in the order were also small (containers half-filled), but the paneer butter masala was the biggest disappointment. For the price, the quality was unacceptable. Would not recommend.
