Baker's Nest in Salt Lake is a wonderfully cozy cafe that I chose to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and it was an excellent choice. I had placed an order for a customized cake a week in advance, and it turned out to be not just beautifully designed but also delicious. The service throughout our visit was remarkable, contributing significantly to a pleasant experience. We started with the Fish and Chips, which were quite filling and tasty. For drinks, we tried the Baker's Special Fusion and the Orange Mojito. While the drinks were well-made, they leaned a bit too sweet for my taste, so they may not be for everyone.The highlight of the meal was definitely the Chicken Stroganoff. It was, without a doubt, the best stroganoff I've had in Kolkata. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, it’s a must-try for anyone visiting the café. We also ordered the Grilled Chicken, which was quite good, though it was somewhat overshadowed by the stroganoff. Overall, Baker's Nest provides a delightful experience with great food and a warm atmosphere. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend trying their stroganoff and enjoying their cozy ambiance.

I visited this eatery after almost four years. Food quality has gone downhill very much. Side salads were inedible. Chicken cheese balls had no cheese and the mashed potato had no butter. Really sorry to see the condition of a once favourite haunt.

The food quality was very disappointing. The chicken and fish did not seem fresh at all - very hard and chewy. However, the staff behaviour was very cordial.

Ordered from Swiggy PLEASE STUDY PROPERLY THE SUBJECT OF CONTINENTAL FOOD. One needs to have an understanding of right amount of sauces and herbs. Chicken Cheese Balls had ZERO cheese. It was basically glorified Chicken Chop Chicken Stroganoff was something called a white sauce with zero herbs and a lot of peri peri powder. Stroganoff sauce is a mushroom based sauce with oregano and pepper and cheesy flavour. I think that the chef did not have Cheese in kitchen. Coming to rice… again it’s sprinkled with Peri Peri which made the rice yellow. Even the French fries was with peri peri. Extremely flat taste and a wastage of money. I NEED A COMPLETE REFUND OF MY FOOD.
